Agreed, first ever extended warranty purchase, and it is not a knock on the MME, it's something I would consider on any advanced, expensive car, lots of tech to go bad and I am in for the long haul.
And yes when I bought the dealer was selling ESP for $4500, but shop around and paid $1600.
I also added the extended warranty last week. I have a 2021 purchased at the end of March 22, so I was just under the 1 year mark. Like you said, nothing better, so I took PremiumCare out to 8yrs and 100k. I am excited to drive this car until 2030 and beyond! And if the EV landscape drastically...
Oh one time I called her out on a group text with friends, she writes, "I'm coming, be there in 5!" I then sent the group a screenshot, "you are still parked at TJ Maxx..." She was "in checkout line"
It's very handy, one kid rides the bus home from school the other gets picked up, don't judge, so I check my wife's position in pickup line to see if she will be back in time to meet the bus, otherwise I walk down the street. Also use it for starting dinner, I see they left swim lessons, I start...
I did the fuse pull awhile back and it worked, but then the issue kept coming back and I was pulling the fuse every few days. I eventually deleted PaaK cleared out my phone and re-paired everything, I havent gotten that issue since. It was one of the early 4.1.x updates that did it to me.
Agreed this update is a big one. And for me its more convienet they put it on the phone vs in the car. I could see for the first time in 8 years that my home EVSE charges at 7kw, I mean thats what it said when I got it, but nice to confirm.
I think general consensus is that the 4.1.x were rolling out to all. Those appear to have stopped and 4.2.x is rolling out now. These are all the same wording as 4.1.x and likely have something corrected that stopped the 4.1.x rollout. If you got 4.1 in Jan I would assume you are fine, if a few...
Cause they are hell bent on destroying the planet in the name of quarterly profits? just kidding, but I will be pissed when Big Oil buys up the rights to the sun, and all of a sudden I am paying them for having my solar panels.
