As mentioned previously, check tire inflation. My sister bought a new car once and immediately drove it 500 miles to visit our brother. When she arrived, her back hurt so bad from bouncing that she was ready to trade the car in. My brother checked the tires - they were at something like 70 PSI...
We're all speculating here. Some have gotten the email who already have their cars (including me). The emails were not sent en masse - they've trickled in over the course of a day or longer. It would not surprise me to hear that some will still arrive. The email came from "MACHESUPPORT" which...
4B. If it's fixed and isn't perfect, you could ask them to do it over. Just another option.
But if I were betting, I'd say you won't be able to find the spot when they're done with it.
Thanks for the thorough write-up. I helped my daughter do some research before she took the plunge, but you're the first owner I've encountered. Sounds like she made a good choice.
That's not correct. In the US, if the supply voltage is 208, it definitely comes from a 3 phase source. 208 is chosen because with 3 phase, the vector math results in 120V to neutral (208 divided by the square root of 3). Actual 2 phase is essentially obsolete.
Glad they got it taken care of.
Palsapp only shows trucking data - so once the truck delivered to the ramp, they were done with their job - nothing for them to update.
Question - what's your opinion of the Kona (presume it's the EV version)? My daughter just got one.
Mine also had a 2019 F150 on it, I searched the VIN and found that it was sold in Louisiana.
When my car status went to "dispatched", the other vehicle disappeared.
My guess is that they run an antiquated system and have to reuse freight bill numbers as the number range rolls over. There is...
Sorry, but nothing is that absolute. The link is indeed to the ford.com domain.
In this case, it is legitimate correspondence that is structured as spam. It would appear that Ford has made a poor choice in selecting this service provider.
Here is what I saw:
VIN shows in Palsapp with status "Pending" with no destination. This was before my car left the factory.
Once the car arrived in KC, the status remained "Pending", but the destination is now filled in. In my case, the destination was my dealer. I'm close enough to KC that...
As much effort as I have put into learning about my new car, I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I didn't realize it had a rear wiper until I saw this thread! :D
