  1. I need a little help.

I don't know what the value will be but the battery pack will probably be basically fine in 10+ years.
  2. Alex on Autos: 10 "Problems" of the Mach-E

I've driven on plenty of bad dirt roads in a low coupe and I still don't get why ground clearance matters so much if you're not going off-roading. I also bottomed out that car more than a few times and it was totally fine. Without the exhaust seems like very little damage could be done.
  3. Replacing Mach-E tires while in the Ford Options plan

No one knows exactly yet but EVs in general have a reputation for wearing tires fast due to the weight and torqueyness.
  4. Paint Protection Film (PPF) such as XPEL for Mach-E

That doesn’t sound right, you should be able to just polish ceramic coat off.
  5. 90% Charge (Better for the HVB) vs 80% charge (more economical)

90% is just an upper limit, 80% or even lower down to like 50% is probably (very marginally) better for HVB health.

OK yeah I agree if it's just a matter of a buffer past empty and the car will keep moving that's fine if maybe a little annoying.
  9. Bjorn livestream of Mach-E range test

I'm not trying to start a mob on Ford or anything but if the usable kwh is less than what they very clearly advertised yes that is lying.
  10. Bjorn livestream of Mach-E range test

I kind of doubt Ford is "hiding" 4 kwh when 88 usable kwh is all over their marketing. I'm not a lawyer but that would be a pretty clear case of false advertising I would think.

I ordered four months ago and don't have a build date so 🤷‍♂️

There are often marks in the clearcoat that need to be polished out due to transport/assembly/dealer washes.
  14. How early to order?

I ordered at the end of October and don’t have a build date. Someone on here said that a high ranking guy at Ford estimated that October orders would get our cars around when you want yours or later. I don’t know exactly when you’d get it but definitely not in the next couple of months.
  15. Mach-E shifts a bit when parking?

Can it freeze like traditional parking brakes? Granted I’ve never actually seen a parking brake freeze, but everything I’ve read about them recommends that they not be used in winter.

  19. Range anxiety after two days of driving

You should probably carry an emergency blanket during deep winter regardless of vehicle type. Things go wrong.
  20. First Impressions of a Tesla M3 Owner buying Mach-E Select RWD

I was kind of tempted to put my Mach E on Turo when I get it because I won’t need it all the time but yeah it does not seem like a good deal in most circumstances. If you follow their very detailed terms exactly and deal with a lot of BS it seems like Turo will usually pay out for damage, but I...
