Post Power-up 4.2.6 charging issue persists after setting the ChargePoint back to 50A. This time I stayed and watched how long it took before the charging fault occurred. It took almost exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds multiple times in a row before the orange lights appeared on the charge port...
If you change the amperage on your home L2 charger to under 50A it should charge fine. I've had zero issues since I did that. Prior to that change my car would stop charging every 40 minutes or so.
On a related note I just got Power-up 4.2.6 today. This update mentions changes to the charging...
Agreed. I can go days and everything works flawlessly. Then out of the blue, I have to toggle Bluetooth/Airplane mode and in some cases reboot my phone.
Many others are having the same issue, me included. See my post here for a workaround.
My charging issues started on my first charge after getting Power-up 4.2.5 at the end of April. This post refers to SSM 51513 which indicates this issue is software related. If this is a software issue...
Yeah it's pretty lame to have to go through that. If this was as software issue I would expect this would be getting a lot more attention from others. It just seems like a odd coincidence that some of us are having the same issue right around the same timeframe.
It started for me after OTA 4.2.5 on 4/24. My ChargePoint has the issue when set to 50A, dropping down to 40A it works fine. The Ford mobile charger worked as well on the same outlet, but I think the that is because it operates at a lower amperage.
This weekend I couldn't go more than 40-45 minutes before charging stopped. I decided to try the mobile charger using the same 14-50 outlet my ChargePoint was plugged into. Charging was a bit slower I think it was around 6-7kW, but charging completed for another couple hours with no issues...
I've also had the exact issue others have reported. It started about 3 weeks ago with my ChargePoint. This other thread mentioned the same issue but referenced SSM 51513.
After further investigation I noticed my last Power-up version 4.2.5 was pushed on Monday 4/24. The issue started on 4/28...
This exact issue started for me about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now I have to unplug and replug roughly every 30-40 when charging stops. Pretty annoying to say the least. On a positive note I only need to charge once or twice a week with the warmer weather.
Hopefully the next software update will fix...
I'm pretty confident the issues over the last month or 2 with PaaK and AA are related to the phone and not the Ford Pass app, or any of the software in the car. I've been having similar issues issue with other bluetooth devices during this same period of time when I wasn't previously. Here are...
I installed the April update this morning, no issues. In fact PaaK is connected to my car from inside the house on the second floor.
You might want to check the Play Store for a Google Play services app update. You can also try uninstalling Google Play services updates, then go back to the Play...
Up until about a week ago I wasn't having any out of the ordinary issues with Paak. Now it either won't connect at all or will randomly disconnect while I'm driving.
Just a hunch, I wonder if this could be related to Google Play Services (GPS). I haven't installed any new system updates on my...
Since the issue is inconsistent even for those of us that have the exact same phone and Android version, I wonder if it's a server side issue. If you turn on airplane mode but leave Bluetooth on does the same issue occur?
This has been happening off and on since I got the car in early 2021. The same goes for the sounds when you first start up the car. I never looked into why, I just figured it was a software issue that would eventually get fixed, I'm still waiting on that.
Yeah that has been happening to me for a few months know. Super annoying. 50/50 chance the trunk will actually open when I get back to the car from the store. Most of the time to car sees me approaching them doesn't open the trunk unless I unlock the driver side door first. Then the trunk...
Nope, it's black all the time on/off or dark/light mode. For all I know it was intentional, it just seems like an odd change. Maybe it's to blend in the black on screen button with the black area on the inside edge of the volume/Multifunction knob 🤔.
