  1. Ford Performance has a Mach E Announcement on 7/21

    Perhaps the Shelby version?
  2. Dave from Georgia (US)

Dave, who is your dealer (if you don't mind saying)?
  3. Spied: Ford Tuning a Racing or Performance Mach-E?

Agree with Ace, makes me think we might be seeing some testing for this: https://www.evo.co.uk/ford/mustang/201971/ford-plans-a-hot-mustang-mach-e-shelby
  4. Tesla getting some BAD Press on quality

    The Model Y gets a review: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a32934240/2020-tesla-model-y-long-range-by-the-numbers/
  5. Model Y Quality Issues Aplenty

    Anecdotal, but interesting nonetheless: https://electrek.co/2020/06/16/tesla-model-y-quality-issues/
  6. Lincoln Mach-E?

The MEB is Europe only, I'm referring to Ford-developed architectures for the U.S..
  7. Lincoln Mach-E?

It is documented elsewhere that Ford are developing another BEV chassis on which will ride a mid sized CUV Ford and Lincoln. This chassis is not the MME chassis, but is said to have benefited from 'lessons learned' in the development of the MME chassis. Thus, Ford will then have 2 BEV...
  8. You asked the questions ... now get the answers (well some)

Can you point me to a link for his comments? I'm curious to read if he had any additional thoughts along these lines (presumably in the context of tuning the GT suspension and magneride).
  9. Mach-E GT Magneride Suspension

Going only by current Ford practice, Magneride is a performance pack add on on the Mustang, so presumably it will be the same of MME - an add on option on the GT.
  10. What would make you cancel your Mach-E reservation and buy something else?

Ford has very limited control over dealer behavior in this regard. The dealer associations in each state are very powerful (witness how successful they have been fighting Tesla's non dealer business model), and will scream bloody murder to protect their dealers versus consumer interest. I know...
  11. Will the Mach-E have ultrasonic sensor proximity visualization?

Exactly. Sometimes I think people think anything on a Tesla must have been invented by Tesla "WIll the MME have rubber tires?".
  12. Road and Track: The Ford Mustang Mach-E Is Not Built for Sustained Track Performance

Agree. I noticed on one of the other threads that the second GT wheel is described as being "forged" which is kind of unusual for Ford. If they are really offering a forged wheel from the factory, I'd bet on that wheel being part of the Magneride/Performance Pack option, along with more...
  13. Mach-E GT Magneride Suspension

It depends on the tuning. The great thing about Magneride is that it can be set up to offer buttery smooth ride and also be set up (say, on sport setting) with much more aggressive tuning for sporty driving. Most likely it will be offered with a very compliant ride in base setting, and offer the...
  14. Road and Track: The Ford Mustang Mach-E Is Not Built for Sustained Track Performance

That's a great point about the PP on the ICE GT, and it makes sense that Ford might follow the same path (performance packs) with the MME GT.
  15. Road and Track: The Ford Mustang Mach-E Is Not Built for Sustained Track Performance

No. The MME sits on a bespoke skateboard chassis that is designed from the ground up to be an EV only vehicle. The C-Max was converted to be a hybrid or PIH (Energi) and thus had packaging compromises (particularly the Energi).
  16. Mach E vs Cybertruck

No offense, but this made me laugh:
  17. Battery supplier(s) for Mach-E and Future Ford EVs
