probably the same all-seasons that are on the regular GT. The Continental CrossContact RX tires. I use them as my summer tires (April-Nov) on a set of GTPE rims. I use Michelin CrossClimate2 tires on my GT rims for my winter tires (Nov-April).
Iād be tempted to lend my car to @heisnuts for the weekend to break the HVBJB and then drop it off at his local dealer since theyāre so familiar with the repair. Hmm, maybe thereās a business opportunity thereā¦
I wonder if Tesla is expanding their test sites or if this is the start of a major rollout. There are some big CCS bottlenecks out there that could use some relief (Quartzsite, AZ anybody?).
āWrong Vancouverā happens and can be a legit problem. In the Seattle area, whether youāre going north or south on I-5, thereās a distance sign saying youāre on the way to Vancouver.
The wife of a Ft Lewis soldier was new to town after moving up from Texas. She went to visit her friend in...
Thereās been a few new CCS charging stations opening up along I-5. The best thing though will be V3 access next year since thereās plenty of new superchargers along I-5.
Similar story and production numbers for me in July with 30 panels from SunPower.
Iāve had the panels for 10 months and am hoping to bank enough kWh via net metering to be close to net zero for billing purposes over the course the year.
Interesting how GTs are failing in real time on the list.
As for raw numbers and percentages, I canāt imagine there are that many GT/PE cars from 2021. The manufacturing timing for ā21 GTs was what, 5 months? 6 months tops? Total built was just a few thousand maybe. With as many dead HVBJBs...
I run CC2s fall/winter/spring and the stock CrossContact RX tires spring/summer/fall (obviously some overlap). There is a noticeable range hit with the CC2s and the CrossContact RX tires are both quieter and do better at softening rough pavement.
hate to disagree with you, but a 20-25% difference is pretty significant, regardless of whatās being measured. 36 minutes is what the MME ER should have launched with and sub-30 minutes is what the midcycle should be. That would at least keep pace with the primary competition.
These 400v cars all charge to 80% between 5-8 minutes faster than the MME Rally.
e-tron
Polestar
ID4
Mercedes EQE
Still in the MMEās price range and class are the Korean EVs and theyāre at 18 mins.
Itās a valid question. Did Ford beef up the HV components to sustain more current or is this just a software revision to the existing hardware?
9 minutes improvement to the charging time to 80% is a nice leap forward but still anywhere from 10-18 minutes longer than other cars in its class.
