I just went through this yesterday with EA. If you want to use your pass+ discounted rate, you must use the app and not the Blue Oval network. Here is what I learned, open the EA app and pick your charger, where it says plug in then swipe right to initiate, swipe right first then plug in your...
Why am I a āknow it allā and your not? Not teasing eitherā¦.. Canāt we have a disagreement / debate / conversation with out name calling? Letās be mature please.
They said that it would be integrated with the current software and screen once into production. Assuming [and I think they will] car companies buy into the technology. I love the idea but would not add a screen to my dash, talk About a distractionā¦ā¦..
Your kind of implying that the design was sound and Ford just miscalculated the power going through the connector. I would suggest the more likely aspect of this issue, is that the vender cut corners and provided Ford with a sub-standard connector not to spec. Just my thoughtsā¦..
Your mostly likely right. I didnāt always pay attention to the manufacturing date of the vehicle. I can say that my new MME was manufactured in July this year and I bought it September 30th. So in theory, I should have a pretty good 12v battery. Letās seeā¦ā¦.
All 12v car batteries should last 4+ years, period. When they donāt, itās caused by the vehicle or the battery itself. I grew up in Minnesota and in my day it got frickāen cold in the winter and super hot in the summer. Back in the 1970ās and 80ās, batteries lasted 5+ years no problem...
I think we are talking about 12v batteries here and not EV 12v batteries. So other than the battery being a little smaller at 330 cca, which some small cars actually use, it is the same battery whether in An EV or ICE. My experience with Ford is that 8 out of 10 new Ford cars Iāve bought over...
Someone needs to develop wireless charging for our EVās. Pull up close, auto connection, can decide on the vehicle screen to charge or not. Now that could simply eliminate any physical connects. To some degree, that technology already exists. Wouldnāt that be coolā¦ā¦!
Are you sure the HVB wonāt keep the 12v battery at a nearly full state of charge nearly all the time? Youāre right about lead batteries. An ICE vehicle will constantly keep the 12v battery at a full state. Seems weird if the MME dosen't do the sameā¦.. but I donāt knowā¦.. Iām just askingā¦..
