I have a message saying “a software update is downloading”. Since my last update failed, I’m currently sitting in my car with it on, trying to will the car to install this update once it’s done downloading. How will I know when it’s completed downloading? Will the “Update now” button light up?

Same here. It downloaded it and then nothing. Update screen says “incomplete”. Womp.

Funny, the Mach E has been out long enough for Ford to have oodles of charging data. You'd think they would be able to use that data to massage the curve or top charging speed a bit more so it means less time at the charger.

No, according to a few discussions on this forum, it’s been the same part since May of 2022 when the issue was fixed.

No, I’d chalk it up to reliability and overall uptime. If a Supercharger has an issue, they have a tech out there quickly to fix it.

Had my first Magic Dock experience this week. Had to pull up very close but once that was done it was smooth sailing. And yes you better believe I avoided the EA station in favor of the Supercharger!

My HVBJB failed on Friday the 13th of October, was at the dealer Monday, was ready Friday. Very happy to have my car back and the service experience was great. I do agree it seems like a lot of HVBJB failure have happened in the last week, which is odd.

Does anyone see the Ford Options calculator on the Ford site anymore? Trying to price out a Lightning and it's listed with Ford Options but no actual calculator.

This confirms our issues are not just for the Mach E (although the author drives a Mach E lol) https://9to5mac.com/2023/10/16/carplay-apple-maps-gps-bugs/ It only started for me when I upgraded from a 13 to a 15. I’ve heard the 14 and 15 have more sensitive GPS or something.

So if my dealer ordered my new HVBJB on Monday, I can assume it’s a “newer” part that will be less prone to failure?
