I have a message saying āa software update is downloadingā. Since my last update failed, Iām currently sitting in my car with it on, trying to will the car to install this update once itās done downloading.
How will I know when itās completed downloading? Will the āUpdate nowā button light up?
Funny, the Mach E has been out long enough for Ford to have oodles of charging data. You'd think they would be able to use that data to massage the curve or top charging speed a bit more so it means less time at the charger.
Donāt get me wrong, between EA and another CCS DCFC Iād likely still go to EA. But thereās a reason so many people are popping bottles over Tesla opening their network.
Well I was definitely excited to use a Magic Dock for the first time. I guess in the future I will see what makes more sense based on a couple of factors:
-Wait time
-Cost
-If the shitty EA station is working at all
-If the shitty EA station is giving full power
-If the shitty EA station is...
Had my first Magic Dock experience this week. Had to pull up very close but once that was done it was smooth sailing.
And yes you better believe I avoided the EA station in favor of the Supercharger!
My HVBJB failed on Friday the 13th of October, was at the dealer Monday, was ready Friday. Very happy to have my car back and the service experience was great.
I do agree it seems like a lot of HVBJB failure have happened in the last week, which is odd.
Does anyone see the Ford Options calculator on the Ford site anymore? Trying to price out a Lightning and it's listed with Ford Options but no actual calculator.
This confirms our issues are not just for the Mach E (although the author drives a Mach E lol)

It only started for me when I upgraded from a 13 to a 15. Iāve heard the 14 and 15 have more sensitive GPS or something.
