Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

I was able to find a post with a description for all the recent priority updates. Can’t link to it here though. BCM should handle vehicle identification and OBCC the comms with the charger. So both together theoretically will enable supercharger access. Just need the adapter + app access now.

You can't road-trip in an EV...hold my beer

I went from Toronto to San Fran, down to LA and back to Toronto last November. 2 weeks and 10,000km. Totally possible! Used Electrify America almost exclusively and only had issues at 2 stations but was never left stranded.

    Update 6.8 keeps failing OTA

I mean if you really want to you can get BC 1.4 via FDRS right now. Just update all modules and tweak some as built settings in APIM and IPMA 😂 I have a 2021 with BC 1.4 "unofficially" enabled and working.

My CCM version is from 2021 and hasn't been updated since the factory. I am assuming I will get the CCM update as its part of the 7.0.0 OTA? Wouldn't make sense to me that newer cars are getting a new CCM update and 2021s aren't.

I just applied the new PSCM and IPMA updates last night on my 2021 and wow the difference is very noticeable even without full BC 1.4 feature activation. Car no longer hugs the right side of the lane (one of the biggest 1.0 annoyances!) Car no longer ping pongs between lanes, its locked in the...

Those versions listed in that document are not accurate. All MY should be on the same level once they are fully updated. List is outdated at this point. I have a 2021 and I am on the same revision as the others (SYNC4 v4.0.23291 - PU5T-14G682-EL).

In terms of SYNC versioning, the upper number is more revealing. The version right before PRODUCT tells you the day the build was compiled, with the first 2 numbers being the year and then following 3 numbers the day of the year. So in this case the build was compiled on the 16th of May, 2021...

Recall 23S56 - HVBJB Replacement / Powertrain Software Update

Had my original one replaced at 16,000 km and just got another failure at 89,000 km on the highway home a few days ago… At the dealership for repairs and they ordered the part yesterday. Hopefully that means it’s the new one, although I’m not sure if our Canadian inventory has been updated. I’m...

    Thoughts on Power-Up 7.0.0 ?!

Yay, it’s not a 4 hour long FDRS programming session for the IPMA this time! 🤣

    PowerUp 6.8.0 released

Only real noticeable difference for non-GT owners is the speed limit sign now showing a “- -“ when it doesn’t know the limit and the speedometer no longer going into the middle of the screen when lane keep is off.

    PowerUp 6.8.0 released

It’s both. First part is a USB install for the main 200MB file and then it does a flash of the updated strategy file via CAN. Took around 3 minutes for me so very short, don’t need a battery maintainer if you’ve got a high enough SOC. All in all it was done in about 20 minutes. Longest wait was...

    PowerUp 6.8.0 released

At least for me this IPC update introduced a GT boot/splash screen. Instead of being the default blue with a non-GT Mach-E it now matches the sync screen and shows the gold GT Mach-E. Very nice for consistency. Also the speed limit signs now show a “- -“ when it doesn’t know the limit...

Will "Connected Built-in Navigation" work abroad? Going to Canada.

I am from Canada and just did a cross USA road trip from Toronto to San Fran/Los Angeles and back to Toronto using car nav the entire time and it was fine. All NA cars have NA maps installed that cover Canada, USA, and Mexico. Car modem also works in all countries no issues.

Toronto to Montreal And Back - Barely Survived the Ivy Network

Should be sometime next year, but no specific dates were given yet. You can currently buy an adapter from a company in Quebec. There’s links to it on this forum, but there’s no OEM direct adapter as of yet.
