    Significant drop in SoH

From what I've learned there is less expansion and contraction in the barrery when charging between 50% and 80%. If you are doing that, I'm not sure DCFC would be an issue. Also, that worry about what SoC is best to store the battery does not apply in the cold. I think it was Tom's State of...

Jim Farley's Note to owners as they open the NACS Adapter box 📝

That's no small thing and should not be undersold. I hate plastic and Styrofoam packaging as it is largely unnecessary. Not exactly surprised given Ford's recent rankings on the purity of its supply chain. Oh so yah, I care. 😁

Testing Tesla SuperChargers with the J3400 to CCS1 adapter

Oh abso-fricken-lutely. I was being a bit tongue in cheek 😁

Testing Tesla SuperChargers with the J3400 to CCS1 adapter

Ford announced moving to NACS quite some time ago. I think even before the announcement, Ford and Tesla were starting to hammer all this out. Now, dealers, sell up the fact that Ford EVs have easy access to the SC network and get some of that inventory down 😜

NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

My sister has a lake house in Meredith, NH on Winnipesaukee. There is an Irving gas station down the road from her place with Superchargers. I think they are new so hopefully V3 chargers I can try the adapter on.

NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

Thanks Erik! Hey did you see Boston is installing curbside chargers? I'll send you a link to the story in a PM.

NACS Adapter Now Available + Ford EV Owners Can Now Charge on Tesla Superchargers in U.S., Canada! 🙌

Site/server overloaded for sure. Lol, what did they think was going to happen. We are the "gimme, gimme, gimme" crowd for sure. Luckily, I have no need of the adapter until at least August. I'll check back much later on. Good luck everyone.

    Ford's Clean(er) Supply Chain

    Nice job Ford! https://www.theverge.com/2024/2/27/24084576/ford-mercedes-tesla-ev-supply-chain-leaderboard-climate

    Tolls Not Detecting IPASS

In NH, we have EZ Pass. Our fancy IR blocking windshield was interfering with the transponder so I changed to one mounted on the front license plate. NH requires a front plate so I did not have to drill new holes.

If you have a Mach E and feel screwed by the price slash, call Ford, or don't. LOL

DOH! Busted! "The cash out of your pocket does increase when you eventually sell the car. So the depreciation absolutely affects cost of ownership. Purchase price plus expenses minus selling price = cost of ownership." That does make sense but I guess, wrong or right, I only focus on the costs...

If you have a Mach E and feel screwed by the price slash, call Ford, or don't. LOL

I did not mean to come off as flippant or apathetic. It completely sucks to be $20K underwater on a loan. But there is nothing I can do about that. The only thing I can do is staunch the bleeding by reducing the interest expense on my financing. I made the decision in June 2021 to buy my Mach-E...

If you have a Mach E and feel screwed by the price slash, call Ford, or don't. LOL

Cars are not investments anymore than a lawnmower is. They are depreciable assets, tools to be used up while providing a service or quality of life improvement. When my retirement accounts start dropping by 20-30% in two years, then I'll start freaking out. Right now my only focus is paying my...

Ford Slashes 2023 Mach-E Pricing For All Trims, Up to $8K on Certain Models

I should have clarified that I was suggesting that to people who don't already own the car. 😊

Two-Year "Review": 33,500 miles, 24 months, Dozens of Road Trips...

I'm coming to up on two years in July. So long as it keeps working, I don't see me having an issue keeping this car for many, many more years. It's a very good car. Ford only has to revise a handful of items for it to be a true battery electric beast (much of what @SpaceEVDriver recommended)...

AT&T customers hit by widespread cellular outages in U.S - will that affect PAAK, software updates, etc ?

My Waze and weather in the car were not working this morning (NH). I'm seeing inconsistent performance/signal reception. I've been an AT&T customer since the 90's. I can't remember the last time time I had significant issues. I'm not seeing my car's location in the Ford Pass app at the moment.

Rivian will open up the Rivian Adventure Network to non-Rivian owners in the second half of 2024.

Bingo. I actually completely forgot Rivian had chargers. I don't see much online about its charging network. I hope it keeps rolling them out right along with the R2 line.

NACS Adapter is on Ford Parts Website (no, it can't be ordered yet)

I'm not a long range road tripper but many here are. Looking very much forward to living the Supercharger experience vicariously through their posts 😜 I'm still excited to get the adapter and try it out because, you know, new stuff!

I just saw Bigfoot (but got a non-blurry photo)

The neighborhood my photo is taken in is a part of an historic district. Tiny, colonial, New England streets. But it has all wheel steering to it can make very tight turns.
