No mention of just how many of those were FTCP Mannequins. A big reason the sales numbers get skewed by the way. Ford gets to claim a sale and the cars sit on the dealer lots as mannequins....and when you buy one you're the "second owner" of a used MME (or Lightning).
At least the warranty is...
I've owned 4 of these chargers in total...two of which remain in their original packaging and in the storage areas in the car and truck respectively.
The third one was the original EVSE that came with my '21 model that displayed these same symptoms for over a year. I would observe the full blue...
I ordered using the website on MS Edge. I first ordered one for the MME and then went back to order one for my Lightning.
Problem is I got two emails confirming the orders.....and both order numbers are exactly the same.
So I'm not entirely sure I actually ordered one for each vehicle even...
I'll bet one of the powertrain items didn't clear off the list...so they ran it again...and had to go through all of those scripted updates twice. I guess they showed those powertrain modules who's boss! That'll teach 'em.
Here's what's left:
Oh, they will only intentionally do updates that Ford tells them they have to before delivery ("stop sell" and recalls). In fact if you ask the service manager if there's anything that needs to be updated they will say there aren't any updates at all.
Well I do think that with this number of older updates that many cars have gotten as OTAs by now, that it may be time to schedule a service visit for diagnosis to determine why you aren't getting OTAs.
They can start by updating that GWM module first and go from there.
