I wouldn’t touch anything based on Mach-E delivery expectations. Ford can’t be trusted to make any commitments let alone meet them.

You certainly could be right. The OP can correct me if I’m wrong but I think the original point of this thread was why doesn’t Ford tell us? Why are we the customers speculating?

You have reliable information that those things are happening at the MME plant?

Is that supposition or do you have access to solid information? If the latter then thank you. That’s the kind of information I’ve been seeking.

Exactly. I’m much more annoyed by the lack of information than the delays. I can see how a chip shortage would stop production but not how it would slow it down. They either have the parts to build the cars or they don’t.

Welcome to the club. I’m in the 12th week of Ford information blackout. There are some a lot worse off than us.

I have a theory that GM managed to plant some people in the Ford team that planned the MME rollout. I’m only half kidding.

If you figure out any of Ford’s hidden mysteries please share. They seem to have a program dedicated to alienating as many customers as possible.

My situation isn’t nearly as bad as yours and I am apoplectic. One avenue you didn’t mention is “Mach-e Order Support” at (833) 385-0523. I hit yet another brick wall with them because I don’t have a VIN. Perhaps you’d have better luck.
