    Scheduled departure vs. Remote start

I really hope Ford bakes these shortcuts into a future FordPass update! Seems like the work is mostly done and having it "officially" included would be an amazing feature to have.

It's not too visible but like you said it does hurt inside :)

    Garage Door Accident

Not an answer to your questions but a note of sympathy. I left the rear hatch open on the MME and out of reflex opened the garage door...dragging the metal bar attaching the door to the track right over the door! The worst part is when I did it the second time...I have never been so mad at...

    any deliveries to NM yet?

Are you the Mach E I saw today or is there another Red one in town? First one I’ve seen (besides mine)

Another Mach-E Road Trip : 384 miles and 10,000 foot mountain passes

I’ll see if we can carve out some time and message you. Two Grabber Blues would make a great pic! My wife works in dental and I work from home so she’s been the lucky one driving all the time. I’m now the most helpful spouse in the world volunteering to run any errand after work just to get...

    any deliveries to NM yet?

I’ll have to start doing that in my garage. It always seems to honk at just the right time to make my wife or me jump when we aren’t expecting it

    any deliveries to NM yet?

Nice! It will be good to have a few more people to share the gawking and questions 🤣 Some days I love to show it off but some days I just want to get home and out of the traffic!

    any deliveries to NM yet?

Just found this NM post...I’ll keep an eye out for you guys on the road. We have a Grabber Blue FE in ABQ. My nephew has seen a gray one around my area too but I have yet to see it. Took delivery of mine from Power Ford back in mid-February and have been smiling ever since!

Another Mach-E Road Trip : 384 miles and 10,000 foot mountain passes

I’m liking the tour of Colorado chargers. We are headed north next month to visit family in Northern Colorado so getting to see what charging is like in/around Denver is very helpful!

    Ask an Electrical Engineer

That indirectly helps so if I understand TeslaTap's page correctly: 40 amp Tap - will do 10kw max for 3 hours and 8kw continuous. Not the full capacity of the onboard charger but close. 50 amp Tap - will do 12.5 kw continuous 80amp Tap - will do 20kw So to go back to my original post which...

    Ask an Electrical Engineer

For the Tesla Tap and other adapters; what is the amp rating we should buy? If I understand it correctly we are limited by the onboard charger's rating but I can't seem to find that... Thnaks!

Ford . . . PLEASE consider making the Mach E compatible with Apple Car Key! (or give us TWO fobs)

I tend to be optimistic in the long term and while it wouldn't be trivial I would gladly pay the dealer to pull the door panel off :) I will caveat the following with YMMV...I have no issues with PaaK and I haven't once used the FOB. Before anyone attacks me it does, on occasion, not notice...

Ford . . . PLEASE consider making the Mach E compatible with Apple Car Key! (or give us TWO fobs)

Spot on! Ford has a chance at a new paradigm with the Mach E and I would hope while they are exploring the business model they would also reconsider how they handle feature updates. As you said if the ability to add a digital key exists, my hope is that they wouldn't hold to "old" thinking by...

Ford . . . PLEASE consider making the Mach E compatible with Apple Car Key! (or give us TWO fobs)

For both sides for this, the hardware and the software, aren't hard stops. While I agree the Mach E doesn't have (as far as we know) the UWB hardware both might be able to be added with an OTA and visit to the dealer. Ford is looking for more revenue streams on existing products and I would...

    Some Observations After Delivery

Is it working when you use a cable? I had issues with the wireless CarPlay at first but after I hooked it up once with a cable it has worked since. Might be a coincidence though...

    Some Observations After Delivery

Did you find it favored on side of the lane? I tried it on the freeway and it did great but it stayed uncomfortably close to the right line. Wouldn‘t have been a problem if I was in the slow lane but I was in the fast lane. People here tend to stay to the left of the lane generally so we would...

A lithium-ion upgrade for your car, but not the one you’re expecting

I saw this and went down a battery rabbit hole even before I got my MachE. I saw a Tesla swap with an Ohmmu (https://www.ohmmu.com/) battery so I emailed them asking if they were going to have one for the Mustang. They said as soon as they get their hands on one they would design a replacement...

My First Time Seeing a Mach E in Person

No clue yet. We normally keep hiking stuff in the back of our car so I wanted the cable more accessible without moving everything. There is quite a bit of space there and if you move the tire kit to the frunk you could probably take the foam insert out. Of course then I’m removing back parts to...

My First Time Seeing a Mach E in Person

I just picked up my FE (Grabber Blue) yesterday so I haven't had much time with it but I wanted to make a quick observation on the frunk divider. I wasn't sure how I would like the divider but I also didn't have plans for that area anyway as this is my first EV and first frunk. I figured I...
