*raises hand* Ordered on 3/15, got an email on the 25th for a production date 5/9.
I've mentioned this in another thread, but here's what my dealer told me: SoCal area takes anywhere from 1-6 weeks from order date to production date. Higher volume dealers seem to have quicker order fulfillment.
Ford did just announce that they're suspending production of the F-150 for a couple days. So far it looks like that's the only vehicle affected.
Ford's Mexican plants seem to be operating as normal (for now).
If you don't mind me asking, when did you complete your purchase?
I have a friend who did the purchase online last week and had the same issue of the CA rebate not showing up. He didn't realize this until he got to the dealership so they ended up having to redo the paper work 😬
Great informational thread. If I'm assuming correctly, it seems like you'd have the option to check out your car/maybe test drive before you sign the papers (or tablet).
Also for CA residents who have done the buying process online, did the $1500 Clean Fuel Reward show up?
Has anyone gotten their X-Plan pin via being a Ford shareholder? I know there's a form you have to fill out. I sent in my form a couple weeks ago. How long did it take to get your pin and also how did they notify you: mail? email?
My dealer has said that anecdotally, they've seen orders take anywhere from 1-6 weeks from order submission to notification of scheduled build date. This is for the Southern California region.
Dealer also said they haven't seen any correlation between trim selection and scheduled build date.
