Huh, that’s strange. They’re listed as a preferred shop for my zip on the Ford website and they have a Ford charger outside. They only required the $500 from me and it remains fully refundable. They’ve been nothing but pleasant to me even through a clerical error in my reservation.
The other vehicle based on this platform, the EV6 has a GT model coming out soon that, like the Mach E GT, claims 3.5 0-60. It definitely made me raise an eyebrow, but I'll be staying with my Mach E GT reservation for now
Those wheels look great. The extra width really helps the look of that car.
This has me thinking, I'm definitely going to have to find a lowering system when I get my GT. That wheel well gap isn't horrible, but I like the flush look. I just hope someone comes out with a system that doesn't...
The whole reservation process is pretty spotty on quality anyway. I didn't have your exact issue, but Ford inexplicably canceled my reservation and refunded my deposit without me doing anything. I was forced to go to the back of the line on my GT reservation
Well crap... I have a classic beetle that I’m restoring and I’ve considered converting it to electric. I had a plan to get a custom badge that read Voltswagen. Here I thought I was being unique and creative
Off topic, but I witnessed a very similar event happen in the George Washington National Forest. This didn't happen to be a few years back off-roading with a Toyota Tacoma enthusiasts group, did it?
I canceled a ID4 reservation for the Mach E. I’m a long time VW guy and I thought they were too boring for my tastes. Plus, as longtime VW owner, I’ve wrestled with some kind of electrical gremlin in every single model I’ve ever owned. To trust them with a fully electric vehicle to get the...
I’m just going through the 12 steps of Mach E reservation.
1. Hype
2. Hope
3. Anticipation
4. Denial
5. Aggravation
6. Realization
7. Depression
8. Grumpiness
9. Entitlement
10. Contemplation
11. Acceptance
12. Zen
As a GT reservation holder who got bumped to the back of the line by a...
I reserved Oct 2020. I don’t think I’ll actually take delivery until about October this year. As others have said, details are scant right now but going into April, closer to the order conversion, we should get more info
Completely unrelated, but I have a hard time reading any post from you without looking at your avatar and imagining a smug ass cat reciting what you've just said... with attitude... and completely judgy.
I'm also a performance minded person. My daily driver is a sleeper that eats a good deal of "faster" cars for lunch; a Stage 2 tuned 2016 VW GTI. I'm regularly in the mid 12s for the 1/4 mile. I'm in mid 4 seconds 0-60 which for a 2.0L front wheel drive car on pump gas, it isn't bad. I want to...
That’s actually a really shitty response. The dealer acknowledges the markup and tries to justify it as “they’re limited so greed is ok”. That’s not justification, that’s called being an asshole
Yes, always the hitch mount for bikes. I say this as someone with a roof rack who after a long arduous ride somehow forgot it was up there and rammed my bike into my garage
