Had a frustrating experience with PAAK yesterday. After ordering at a drive through I pulled forward to wait for my food. Decided I needed to get something out of the back seat. I put the car in P, left the phone in the wireless charging spot, opened the front door (left it open), opened the...
Update: FordPass Charging Network finally appeared on the Connected Services screen. Sign-up was glitch-free.
Now I just need to get the wi-fi to connect at home for the OTA.
100% PAAK over the past 6 weeks, although reliability is a bit random and at times I've had to use my outside voice with it. Using the door and startup codes have worked flawlessly when needed.
I've been seeing these additional tiles for a few days now, but no indication of the OTA update yet.
Like others have been reporting, the Charge Level tile is way off and the Vehicle Health Reports seem in error. I've never been able to sign up for the FordPass Charging Network as it never...
I'm having the same wi-fi issues with Ubiquiti. Have you contacted Ford directly yet? Any sense as to what is causing the problem? I'm trying to get connected to the FordPass Charging Network before escalating the wi-fi issue.
After 5 weeks I am still not able to activate the FordPass Charging Network. Only just this week did the Navigation show up on the Connected Services screen. Have called the Ford marketing phone number and they initiated a ticket but it has been 10 days and I have had no follow up.
Not a huge...
While I wouldn't go the same extent as the OP, I did find the ride over bumps, seams, etc., much more pronounced than previous vehicles. I've attributed the difference to being a more "sporty" vehicle than the Grand Cherokee, Yukon, Passat, etc. that I have had in the past.
Nothing. For like a day the connected navigation showed up, but then that disappeared. The Charging Network has never appeared. I have only charged at home so not a front burner issue for me, but I need to get it to work eventually.
Three plus weeks for me and same issue. I did a support chat session last week but have not heard anything back yet. No email regarding the additional 250 kw either.
I've had the car for almost a month and I continue to get the "No Connected Services Available" message when I try to activate. The connected navigation does not show up either. Anyone successful in getting past this?
Took delivery 3 weeks ago. PAAK with iPhone 12 worked reliably to start with. However, it is getting worse with each passing week. I can be standing right next to the car and the Bluetooth won't connect, even when I manually try to do so. Yes, I have the FordPass app open on the phone. I have...
Glad to see you are getting their attention.
My MME has a 12/24 build date, so I called the dealer to see if this applies to me as well. He said they checked the OASIS system and my VIN doesn't show up.
So far, so good.
Sorry to hear you having these difficulties. Mine is a blast to drive and...
After seeing this I remembered that I got a Fedex notification on Friday. Sure enough, The Shipper Reference is MMA059XX-CarbonizedGray/Asher.
Looks like it should be here on Tuesday (2/23).
Cool.
Two weeks with my MME and no Connected Services available. Not a problem for me on a practical level, as I charge at home, but it was a huge marketing point for the car.
Overall, the FordPass app/SYNC 4/Ford.com system integration, including PAAK, inspire zero confidence.
I have the same equipment and can't connect yet. Have tried 2.4 vs 5, single access point, no hyphens, and still no luck.
What encryption are you using? Any other settings I should look for?
Thanks for posting a new tip regarding Wifi. I still have not been able to get my home wifi to connect. I have been successful in connecting to my phone as a hotspot and to a retailer's guest network, but not at home. I have a multi access point Ubiquiti setup (including one in the garage) with...
