Yes I had the latest version of the Android app installed. For one reason or another the location to feature randomly started working this morning. Not sure what changed but after an hour or two I went back in and things were working again.
Yesterday when I attempted to pull up the location option in the Fordpass app on my Android phone I was greeted with this message:

Day #15 (actually day #20 since I dropped the car off). I have opened a case with the BEV team. They can see the dealer has an open inquiry open with Ford. I hope this escalation can get more eyes on the situation so that Ford can provide a fix for me and others with this issue.
Day #13. Nothing. My car has sat in the back parking lot of the dealership for about a week now. I am told that they are waiting on a solution from @Ford Motor Company. Coming up on three weeks without my car. :sadface:
I'd bet there are a dozen similar reports in this forum of this happening. Only happened to me once in a parking lot last fall so I don't know if Ford knew about it and released a SW update to correct the problem or what.
One thing that my Job 1 2021 does not have that newer Mach Es have is a physical traction control button that you can press to disable traction control and hold to disable stability control. I'm going on week three in the shop with Ford scratching their heads because I cannot turn off traction...
Day 6. Nothing. In fact I think they may have given up until perhaps an engineer comes in to look at it? Didn't here from the dealer today so I drove by and my car has been relegated to the back parking lot. Jumped in, turned it on, hit the traction control icon and it still turns back on. ☹️
Day 3 with the EV tech working with Ford engineers and no solution yet. Tomorrow will be day 4. It'll be interesting to read the service summary showing everything that they tried.
