I had negative equity in my Mach E at the end of my Options (two Carfax accidents, one of which had zero damage plus bad timing with price price cuts) but are you sure *you* have negative equity?
My total payments for a GV60P lease add up to about what my cost to keep the Mach E would have...
Meh. He's not wrong - his priorities didn't line up with what the Mach E offered.
This is one of those things that doesn't matter until it does and it probably won't matter for most owners.
I replaced my Mach E - which never had 12v problems and even warned me with an alert about excessive...
Agreed that having an easier jumpstart process is vital.
But I think somebody else mentioned that with ice cars, you often get a bit of an early warning indicator with anemic starts. But all it takes is a cold snap to go from enough to turn over and not.
They have a charge strategy so...
I dodged the very early 12v battery problems some folks had with their not-even-old 2021s and replaced my Mach E with a Genesis GV60 before my '21 Mach E has any age-relayed 12v issues.
6 months into owning the GV60, I came out to a flat 12v battery and a dead vehicle that was over 90% hv soc...
The Ford claim for the 2021 Premium AWD ER was 4.8s with 1 foot rollout.
In 2021, the best I ever got was 5.56 (1 ft) / 6.16.
In 2024, I did better with 5.0 / 5.25.
Temperature was in the 70s for both of those. I had better tires on the car in 2024, though. 🤷
I suspect this will kill the integration with PSEG-NJ off-peak charging credit program.

After careful consideration, Enel X Way North America has decided to close its electric mobility business in the US and Canada...
In other codec news, I did discover the Mach E will play stereo DSD encoded audio from .dsf files.
I used sample files - actual music, this time! - from here: https://www.oppodigital.com/hra/dsd-by-davidelias.aspx
If I recall correctly, it would recognize a multichannel dsf file but display...
It seemed really strange to me that the 4.0 flac file wasn't limited to just Front Left and Front Right. Then it occurred to met that it was Dolby 4.0, which suggested it might be old-school Dolby Pro-Logic that used some analog encoding wizardry to steer 2-channel (stereo) audio to F/C/R and a...
That's exactly where I sourced the test files I used!
Don't expect the mp4 or atmos files to play.
I'd start with the FLAC 5.1.flac and the LPCM 7.1.wav.
Those should be recognized and play without errors. If you hear more than two channels, that will be a significant change!
If the update...
I don't have my Mach E anymore but when I tested multi-channel flac files, only the front left and front right channels played.
Has anybody tested with any discrete surround files after this update?
I started with the Mach E and loved it for the 3 years I had it. I only had a Premium though. Our one significant gripe was the ride quality. I think my wife's description of the issue was spot-on. She described the sensation as "after-bounce."
I considered going to a 23 GT PE but it wasn't...
I have PAAK with the GV60. And the Genesis app can do more things than the basic PAAK. But I always carried the Mach E fob and I always carry the GV60 fob. I haven't really tried to depend on either PAAK or the face & fingerprint. I don't use it very often but only the fob has the remote control...
The update for wireless AA/CP started rolling out on 9/11 and my GV60P got it that same day. So now the only thing I really miss from my Mach E is walk-away locking. I've gotten used to it, though.
I will say that now that it's wireless, my Pixel 8 pro gets a bit too warm - just like it did in...
I had to shift to Park to see the results but this is pretty cool! And for the one run I did while also running Dragy, the 0-60 time was within a tenth of a second of the Dragy number.
I replaced my 21 Premium 4x with a 24 GV60P.
If the June update rescheduled to September arrives, I'll get Wireless AA/CP and the only things I'll miss from the Mach E will be inconsequential to us: Frunk, walkaway locking, and super effective roof glass thermal coatings. (I rarely used the...
That's interesting. The trailing edge of mine looked like that. I only noticed after two independent events: the car was lightly rear-ended while the dealer had it to do the glass recalls.
My first assumption was it had occured during the roof glass recalls. The dealer blamed the accident which...
