I bought a house with a roof even though I only need it less than 10% of the year. People buy houses and cars - expensive things - for all use cases. Even infrequent ones.
Sure, renting a car is a great strategy if you only plan to road trip once or twice a year (and by road-trip I’m talking a...
Even if you are a believer, you’re not saving the planet driving your “green” 5,000 pound vehicle. There are many smaller options, or even better, public transit. You’ve chosen a certain level of personal comfort and taste over your proclaimed desire to save the planet, which kinda gives away...
Did you, @Ford Motor Company? We were talking about the FordPass app. There is no reason for the app to scroll, and it makes it harder to tap the right button.
SMDH.
One thing I know for sure, it isn't "the maps." The maps are just a geofence limiting where the hands-free functionality can be used. They are not used for actually keeping the vehicle engaged in BC or keeping the vehicle properly centered.
It could be some other software issue, maybe, but more...
Well, for starters, reset the door opening height to see if that confirms what I said. I suspect that is your issue.
Assuming I’m right, your next step would be to send angry emails to Ford and troll this message board, and particularly @Ford Motor Company at least one a week for at least 18...
That noise occurs when the door opening is interrupted. Your car seems to think your rear hatch opening is getting interrupted. Possibly you have it set to not open all the way?
PAAK is never going to work as reliably as the fob. OTA updates are going to continue to kinda suck.
But otherwise, the dealer should be able to get your software to relatively stable cocktail but getting it up to date. You’re under warranty, and they’ll likely get it working.
I bought a first...
This “6.x poll” is now primarily updates that are not associated with 6.x…
I thought the whole idea was to track progress toward the BC upgrade, which was the purpose of the 6.x progression. Most of these updates don’t appear to have anything at all to do with that.
I mean, really, who cares about anything EA says at this point. That this is even news just goes to show how slooooow things are around here. I think I'll go bump the BC Coming Soon thread just to get this Monday started off right.
First Edition. 38 months, 49,000 miles. Still drives like new. No routine maintenance other than recently replacing the tires. Never even changed the oil.
I’ve not noticed any drop in range, but I haven’t measured it.
Honestly, I haven't looked at the sidewalls since I bought them. I mean, they're black on black. You'd have to get up really close to even see the design on them, no?
To be fair, I probably went about 10,000 miles beyond what I should have, but even 40k on OEMs ain’t bad. Especially on this behemoth LOL. I think the Hankooks have a 50k treadlife warranty.
