No, It will read some random minimum speed limit sign or suggested speed limit sign and slow the vehicle down to that. It's a stupid option to leave enabled by default and does not work as intended. It has to many false positives to be relied on reliably.

It is always running in the background. You had two members suggest you turn off "Destination Suggestions". I suggest you try it and see if it solves your issue.

Are you using the Ford navigation? If you are go into your navigation settings and turn off "Destination Suggestions". It's under the notifications menu.

The start, lock, and unlock doors function uses a cellular connection not bluetooth like PaaK does. Once you update your Pixel try deleting your current PaaK and setting it back up and it should work.

You need to drive it more and for longer periods of time to recharge the 12v battery. Ford vehicles are known for going into a Deep Sleep mode which eventually kills the 12v battery.

Here is one more confirmation that the February update fixed whatever the January update broke. I used the instructions listed in FP to reset PAAK on my P7P and so far it is working again. After multiple phone resets and toggling BT on and off my phone is still able to connect to the vehicle.
