I think your car is secretly making BC1.3 trips overnight just for fun. That will severely reduce your milage. Please keep your car plugged in overnight to avoid this situation.
I used to park inside the garage until the 1952 MG TD and the Corvette kicked the Mach-E out. Never worried about the car catching fire. Unfortunately, my 14 year old charger did catch fire. One of the contacts fried itself. Luckily just awful smelling burnt plastic smell was the worst of it.
This is only for a PC and it's connected peripherals (keyboard and mouse etc) Also, its 300ftSq so it would only transmit about 17.3 feet! Not an option.
Got it. I have never had the desire or need to open/shut the windows or open the trunk or frunk from far away. That feature even has the BT icon on the "button" Sorry for the confusion. There are BT extenders and I have used them in the past. But only made for audio/video. Never seen one...
YOU are not paying attention. EVERY CONTROL IN THE REMOTE CONTROL MENU WORKS WITHOUT BLUETOOTH TURNED ON. I have started my car from 500 feet away. Locked and unlocked my car from another town. What more do I have to say to convince you that you do NOT need BT for these controls to work???
Yes, disconnect BT. It WORKS. I don't know about yours, but I have no problem using the remote controls when not connected with BT. I have used it many times this way. And I just confirmed that fact. Shut off BT and unlocked my car.
That is NOT true. When connected to Bluetooth, it uses Bluetooth. If not connected, it uses WiFi or cellular (not sure which but it's still connected and I assume it's cellular)
My neighbor had a Chrysler sedan in the early 2000's that I was asked to find the battery (nothing on the internet at the time and no manual). I finally found it in the wheel well just like this Journey. The engineers at Chrysler worked overtime to put the battery in the most ridiculous location.
That was a time estimate. I have observed an update done in my Mach E taking far less time than estimated on the screen. Unless you actually know the actual update time, I would take that estimate with a grain of salt.
I recently started the 40-70% maintenance charging. I'm a little confused with going below 10% for maintaining accuracy in range. I get the idea but if the accuracy is off, then I'd be very concerned about "running out" trying to get it to and below 10%. Playing chicken with the range isn't...
Thanks for the heads up. Got one JIK. The cheap one I bought for home is kinda sketchy. Sometimes when I plug it in, the lights turn white, not blue. Have to unplug and replug in to start charging. Replaces one I had for about 10 years that decided to fry itself. Thankfully, it took out...
