A new Sheetz location opened in the past week with 12 Tesla V4 stations. Yes the cords are long enough but these V4 locations will not activate on your Mach E. See photos. Guess they will work in the ....soon.
Department of Energy has agreed to loan Rivian a huge amount that is to be used for their new proposed Georgia plant. I assume Rivian will need to sell a lot of R2/R3 vehicles and sell a lot of carbon credits to make this deal work.
Notice arrived later in the afternoon. Details unknown. Will post after visiting the dealership. Is this for BC 1.3? Dealership stated they needed like 1 hour of time.
Stopped at the Sheetz Bedford, Pennsylvania EA station yesterday (11-9-24) and a new vehicle arrived. The Honda Prolong. Couple in the vehicle had just taken delivery and were learning. Couldn't share too much details as they were newbies. Photo is from the web. It appears to be a...
This is in response to the "glory" given to Ford's CEO EV choice. A look at the Chinese EV testing cycle reveals; The CLTC has also faced criticism internationally for being perceived as "less stringent", "generous", or "unrealistic" compared to the WLTP and EPA standards when measuring...
Say it isn't true. On the Rivian forum such information exists: Tesla Disables Magic Dock for Rivian and others [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS] | Rivian Forum - R1T R1S R2 R3 News, Specs, Models, RIVN Stock -- Rivianforums.com
Maybe this is why the Tesla Supercharger location(s) disappeared...
My 2021 Premium was taken into Cochran Ford Butler on Monday and four days later (08-08-24) it isn't done. They worked on it and test drove it at least six times and each time an overheat motor warning arose on my Ford Pass. It is sitting in their garage on their L2 40 amp charger overnight...
Now that many have had a chance to use our adaptor or Magic Docks at Tesla locations, why wouldn't we want to move towards using a lighter weight and more flexible cable in the future? Is this combination more expensive than what exists at current ccs locations?
Stopped at the nearest Ford dealerdhip with newly installed DCFC charging stalls for brief learning experience. These were labeled 500A max and were identical to the one Chargepoint labeled stall. Naturally Ford's were in blue while Chargepoint were orange. Side note: After last weekend's...
Took a detour after church and practiced using my A2Z adaptor at a Tesla Supercharger. While charging, Tesla Model 3 towing a travel trailer arrived asking "how much longer". I stated three minutes and left for use. First time I have seen a Model 3 towing a travel trailer.
With the formal announcement that Ford EV vehicles are now allowed to charge at Tesla V3 stations-including those without Magic Docks-I took a look at prices. Wow! Minocqua, Wisconsin Tesla's location charges: ,23cents for 0-60kW, .47 for 60-100kW, .76 for 100-180kW, $1.25 for 180-250kW plus...
This link shows such and it is not only for Ford: Certified EV Dealers - Electric For All Not sure where one can find the latest on EV certified Ford dealerships as some of us want to take our vehicles to such for the HVBJB recall when we are notified.
On Plugshare this is listed as "Restricted". If this dealership is a EV branded Ford Dealership, then doesn't it need to provide a DCFC to the public? Something to look at in the near future.
One photo is from today's (01-19-2024) Ford Authority article of unknown specifications. The other is from: Ford-Pro-DC-Charging-Station-60_120kW.pdf (fordpro.com) showing a 120kW/300Amp unit while a 60kW/200Amp unit also exists.
Photo/graph shows 50A fuse for DC/DC converter and cabin HVAC, a 630A fuse for rear motor and 150/250A(GT) for the front motor. Seems as if the HVAC heater is listed as 6kW rated.
