Mach-E may need fewer oil changes

Certainly won't use much gas. Unlike a Tesla.

Video and images from Mach-E Concept-to-Design Presentation Today - Want that Yellow!

Ford ran a MachE information session today for the public. Most of the presentation was based on how Ford went from concept to production design. Here are some interesting pics I took from the slides. Approx. 6 Ford Engineer's ran a Q&A. not much new there but sounded like they will be...

    What're you upgrading from?

2018 Audi Q5 Premium. Love the car. Fast for it's class. MPG is ok for an SUV. Audi maintenance costs can burn in hell.

MachE and Tesla MY Chugging Power Together

Personally love the Y front end. Back is average but not ugly. The MachE rear is much better looking imo. Front is kind of a toss up for me. I love the 3 and Y's headlights.

MachE and Tesla MY Chugging Power Together

I actually pulled these from Tesla Reddit. Tesla drivers are seeing the MachEs, following them and then asking if they can take comparison photos.

MachE and Tesla MY Chugging Power Together

I drove the AWD LR Y and was impressed at the 4.8 second 0-60. I can’t imagine the physics of the Performance model! I don’t dislike the Y backend (Had one on order until the MachE). Overall I think the Y is a great looking car. I definitely prefer the rear of the MachE though.

Does the Mach E being built in Mexico bother you?

Doesn’t bug me at all. All the points already made about the global economy are valid. Someone mentioned Musk and Tesla being American and possibly considering a Tesla in lieu of a Mexican made Mustang because Musk is encouraging and supporting U.S. labor. Musk’s original plan was that...

MachE and Tesla MY Chugging Power Together

I was really impressed with the Y I drove. Has incredible cargo space and was a rocket. But have to say, the MachE rear looks much nicer imo. Nice to see them both side by side.

Tesla the most valuable car company in the world

Not sure I agree with this. I had a Red Model Y, AWD, Ext Range on order for $54,990. 0-60 4.8 seconds, 300+ miles range. My Premium MachE AWD LR in red is $58,100. (less cargo space, less range, not as fast, especially if Ford comes in at 5.5 seconds). Yeah we get the tax credit but still...

I hope so. Would not take much to implement it. The batteries are more than capable of supporting this. One fear I have with Ford is not being able to implement customer requested features. OR, choosing not to do so and making 'upgrades' to later models to try and woo people to trade in...

    Tesla smashes Q2

On point 3: While Tesla had a small drop in sales, they fared far better than other auto manufacturers in the quarter where everyone took large hits due to corona virus. Doesn't matter how many Model Ys were pre-ordered prior to pandemic. How many people lost jobs that could not go forward...

Things to consider when DIY installing a wall charger / outlet

From what I understand, you can roll the amount over to the next year, unless I'm misunderstanding. This is for solar but I think same applies to EVs. "You'll receive your tax credit the following year when you file your taxes for the year in which you installed your panels. If you don't...
