Agree to the point I wish we could remove it and put some other piece of data on the IPC. When you do road trip, one should know that the best plans don't survive contact with the real world and interpreting the GOM will be required.
Others on the forum are better experts on the topic. My understanding is that resets the sync4 / apim only. So no. But then again this car can be quirky and it doesn’t cost much to try that. I didn’t help when this issue happened to me.
Two rock chips right at the edge by the wind shield causing two replaced pano roofs each year. One of the repairs took over a month because of lack of supply and dealer buffoonery. Not worth it, but if you do get it look to get extra protection for the leading edge.
Sorta what I suspected that as long as you stay away from repeated, long term, storage at extreme SOH and Temperatures. The second factor was time and manufacturing issues you have no control over. The charging strategy discussion while interesting is but probably a third or fourth order...
Honestly sounds like you might be over reacting a bit. The 12v on Mach es should be replaced around the 3 year point as normal maintenance. Using the GOM (car estimated range) to judge real range is a huge mistake. Nothing presented suggests this car is a dud. Standard range battery at 95%...
-Build your plan arriving at each charger with at least 20% (with experience you can lower this number)
-No plan survives the real world and eventually one of your planned chargers will be broke, de rated , full , etc.. practice using all the apps to find an alternative and potentially while...
