Attention: Ford's Annual Price Increase on ESPs (Extended Service Plans)! Gets yours @GrangerFord before prices go up on April 1st!

At this point, why do we need coverage for the items below....we need a Mach E specific warranty. I have never done a extended warranty and it is now not the time to start! Manifold (Exhaust and Intake) Manifold and Bolts Oil Pan Oil Pump Seals and Gaskets Thermostat Thermostat Housing Timing...

Let's talk about a dangerous, and maybe deadly, BlueCruise flaw

Ok, so again BCHF is a 'driver assist' feature...the driver is still 100% responsible for driving the car. Knowing BCHF is an assist, you must always be 100% on top of it and be aware of use case. It would only be dangerous if the failure caused the car to not respond to the driver's commands...

Mach-e for Road Trips just sucks. Not even close. More expensive than gas

We are driving a PERFORMANCE car...my Infiniti Q70S, a luxury 'performance' car, requires premium fuel. A better comparison would be against premium fuel, not the cheapest 'regular' fuel. In 2023, I drove from Plymouth, Mass to Austin, Texas- it was not ideal, but manageable. Now with Tesla...

    License Plates

I just don't see the issue here...using basic password discipline would manage any issues...and people can follow you home and get even more information. Obscuring my license plate is way too much energy (and overly cautious)

2 years and 40,000 miles report in a Mach-E GTPE

I am 57 years of enthusiastic driving, mostly muscle and performance cars. My MME GTPE has 24,000 miles of two year driving. When asked, I ALWAYS say the MME is the best car I have ever owned. I've had a few normal issues, but have always had a good experience with the service and support from...

    Tesla charging so far unreliable

The title of this post is accurate, but misleading. Using a third party adapter would seem to be the issue. A better title would be "issues with A2Z adapter". I have used the Ford adapter at multiple Tesla locations around the Boston area (and in New Hampshire) multiple times with ZERO issues...

Ford NACS Adapter has shipped [and NOW ARRIVING]!

Crickets here. No notice and no delivery. I am order #437...wondering why many of the order numbers in the 500s are receiving theirs and I am not?

Car won’t start. Locked out. Making loud banging noise

I had my 22 MME GTPE in for the HVBJB replacement two weeks ago. In the course of fixing that, they replaced the 12V battery. Two days later, the car was totally dead; tow truck came out and jump started the car. Took it back to Ford who tested the 12V battery, said it was defective and they...

Sharing a list of upgrades to my new 2023 Ford Mach-E GT PE

Awesome looking; those aren't OEM wheels are they? If they aren't, what are they?

Edmunds Massive Charging Comparison - MME is second to last.

This is all about 'use case.' I knew the US infrastructure is not built for EVs, but I bought one anyway. Why? Because 95% of my driving is less than 20 miles per day; 4% is a 150 mile trip every other week; and I have taken ONE road trip of 2,500 miles. Stopping to charge during my road trip...

Shame on You HERTZ (and maybe other rental agencies)

Tesla open to Ford. Really? Try traveling cross country (I am driving from Boston to Austin) and tell me to wait. What hertz is doing is wrong. And this was not an aberration in Nashville. The women I spoke to said she does it all the time. BTW, she was charging two MME GTs and two Kias. She...

Shame on You HERTZ (and maybe other rental agencies)

As if there are not enough charging stations for public use, now we have companies like HERTZ taking them over. I was in Nashville yesterday trying to charge my MME GTPE. The EA chargers showed 100% in use, for hours. So this morning I drove over to the EA station which had six units...

How much do you pay for electric at home?

The rate is a flat $10 per month, plus usage. With average monthly usage, the rate is essentially the same (amortizing the $10 over about 900 kWh). My actual monthly rate ranges from $0.245 to $0.285 which accounts for amortizing the $10 over differing usages)

How much do you pay for electric at home?

Here in Mass I pay $.25 kWh (includes delivery and supplier charges) . Mass does not offer any sort of peak/off-peak programs. Ridiculously expensive if you ask me, but still much cheaper than gas.

    Crack in front bumper

A scribe mark makes sense, but only on one side? It was installed by the dealer. Yes, I removed it completely. See my related post (https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/best-way-to-display-license-plate-in-2023.28973/page-4#post-665338) which was how I found this scratch in the first place.

    Crack in front bumper

I agree it looks more like a scratch, but it is NOT caused by the bracket. The bracket frame is three inches away. There was nothing touching that part of the bumper at all. It is possible the dealer did it while installing the bracket as it lines up directly with one of the holes. I will take...

Best way to display license plate in 2023

I ordered the laminate plate from Canada. Wish I had known about this before holes were drilled in my bumper. This might not be legal in Mass where I live, but I will worry about that if and when it comes up. I love the look. Below are the before and after pictures.

    Crack in front bumper

While installing a new laminate front license plate, I discovered a crack in the front bumper (see picture). The crack coincidentally aligns with the previous license plate hole, but it is only on the one side. I am thinking this is a flaw and a warranty claim as I have not hit anything with the...

Unable to close driver door. Keep a wrench in your glove box for 12V disconnect!

Page 79 of the owners manual acknowledges this issue with a recommended fix...not sure if that would work, but at least it is suggested
