Mark, does your '24 have this additional rear diffuser? I wonder if the '25 is gaining any small improvements with this and/or the dimpled grille (lower drag like a golf ball?)
Yes this is just the aero and efficiency improvements with the new rear motor.
The gap should be even wider in winter months thanks to the heat pump efficiencies.
I have a 130 mile round trip to my inlaw's that's a very consistent highway commute that I drive at 70mph. I was able to take it yesterday for the first time in our '25 GT with base wheels to see how the efficiency compared to both our '21 GT and our '22 premium ext awd.
Weather yesterday was...
Oh yeah lee got it sorry I got the rear mixed up with the front washer.
Hopefully that doesn't cause any motor burnout for the washer pump...but yeah I use that all the time as I have my windshield coated so I almost never need to run the washers except when I come to a stop and the water...
Not sure if it's intended to work this way but on our '25 we twist the left wiper control down like we are going to run the washer fluid and just tapping it down causes the wipers to run once but doesn't spray, just like how it worked previously with the function of pulling down on the right stalk.
Sounds like the predictive speed assist thought you were in a 65 mph zone. But you said it accelerated and you had to brake to avoid an emergency stop.
So you're saying there was a stopped car in front that it tried to accelerate into?
I disabled predictive speed assist because I didn't...
I mean this with no disrespect, but we joked that the premium seats with lack of bolstering is made for people larger than we are, and we much prefer the bolstering and the Alcantara's grip for a more stable feeling. Cushioning is pretty comparable. The only thing I don't like about the "GPTE"...
It's very different. We just traded my wife's '22 premium ext awd for a '25 GT and her reaction to it was significant. I knew the differences but I'm a car guy and she doesn't notice the differences as easily.
The suspension feels significantly more taught. The seats are better fitting. The...
Ideally you should do full paint decon, polish, IPA wipedown or other prep to get it to bare paint with no other coatings, fillers or contamination.
I did the wife's brand new GT last weekend and even with a single stage finishing polish, the whole process from the start at 8am went through...
Since we are throwing around DIY recommendations - I have a strong one for Gyeon MOHS evo - it's more durable than something like cancoat as it's their flagship coating - and it was INCREDIBLY easy to apply. It goes on very wet, it sweats within seconds to let you know when it can be wiped, and...
curious about the handling of them compared to say, the OEM GT Continental crosscontact RX tires. I like the idea of a range boost, but not at the cost of a soft sidewall and/or poor handling characteristics.
