Manually turn ON WiFi on the iPhone to restart the connection.
Or go to phone settings in car, click phone, click CarPlay icon to disconnect, wait a sec, then click CarPlay icon again to reconnect.
Got this about 2 weeks ago any my CarPlay issues seem fixed (no audio when starting the car). But now I get a few audio skips like every 30 mins for a few quick seconds. Could also be attributed to iOS 18 which has been terrible for me
Nothing in particular. Since updating I haven’t had that annoying no sound issue (CarPlay starts with no sound until I restart the connection). But that’s all I can think of and it’s only been a day.
What exactly comes with a SYNC update? The bottom of the release notes says SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 but I can check the car for further version numbers in a little bit here.
Had a 2021 with the same issue. Both front half shafts went bad. I think there was an SSM that I brought the tech and he confirmed it. Ordered the parts same day and brought in the car to be installed a week later.
SSM here...
Dealer just finished the newest CSP on my car. Do you guys mind pulling my VIN and seeing what happened on the back end? I also asked them to update outstanding Powertrain modules. @Mike G
Thanks!!

When referring to Powertrain modules, is it just the BECM? Thanks for the insight, I look forward to letting them know (and them probably sneering at me)
Anyone mind pulling my VIN and seeing if the update is available? I’m dropping it off at the dealer on Monday now. Thanks in advance!!

I just tried to call and schedule this and the manager said not to bring it in unless it’s experiencing issues. But my VIN is identified as affected? So idk what to do lol
Sounds like a malfunction more than anything. Leave the car alone for 15 mins and it may clear. Otherwise pull the codes from the OBD and post them here
This started happening only recently but my FordPass properly reports my GOM when inside driving the car. But when it’s parked, shows the GOM as 5-15mi less. Any fix for this or reset?
