  1. Adding an inside Liftgate Power Switch

I used a steel automotive wire fishing tool. Also known as a coat hanger. :)
  2. Rattle, passenger side dash area, above 45-50mph

Almost every time I hear a rattle in my mach-e, it turns out to be glasses in the sunglass holder. (This is also probably one of the easiest things to check by just taking out the glasses.)
  3. Crashed, adios for now.

I feel bad about your car, but glad that you're (mostly) okay. I'd guess that your car is going to be totaled by insurance. Seeing the front of your mach-e smashed in like that is painful, but now you probably know how 2025 owners feel about the smaller frunk. ;)
  4. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Is this from the B&O modification? If so, try to open the ACM module in FORScan as if you were going to modify a value. Instead, just click "WRITE ALL." (This will re-write all the values for the module.) Then go into the DTC's and clear the ACM code and see if it comes back.
  5. Dealer is asking 300$ to install update fixing carplay connection

    1. It would only be covered over the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. 2. It won't fix the problem anyway. 3. You might consider investing in a mongoose cable and power supply for doing FDRS updates yourself.
  6. Rear wipers too small

I need a clear window to properly see what happened in the video. Had the insurance company asked for the video, and it turned out to be a blurry, dirty mess where it wasn't very clear what happened, or the license plate of the car that backed into me wasn't very clear, they might have declined...
  7. Rear wipers too small

My mach-e was backed into by another car in a parking lot (I backed out of my spot, and then he backed into me.) I was told by my own insurance company that most insurance companies handle parking lot accidents as no-fault as it's extremely difficult to prove who backed into who. My rear...
  8. Power lift-gate and parking assist.

2023 job 1 cars don't have the hardware either. At least mine doesn't. It still has the second (inside) liftgate button, but that's about it. :(
  9. Announcing: Tesla Superchargers + Connected Navigation

This question, and many others, will be answered.. soon.
  10. Service quote.

LOL!!! Somebody who knows what they're doing? At a dealership? LOL LOL LOL LOL ...with a trained eye? Really? I got a bridge I'd like to sell you... You think they'll do all pending FDRS updates at the same time? I've got a bridge AND a piece of land I'd like to sell you...
  11. Thumping Sound

When you go to check, be sure to be vewy vewy quiet...
  12. Thumping Sound

Have you checked for bunny rabbits behind the rear seat in the cargo area? :D
  13. Post here if you have an active FDRS account and are willing to look up info for others

Javier, if you're able to look up VINs in the US (to get the DSP version,) I sent you mine in a DM that you can use for reference. Take care Gary
  14. Honest answer please: When will Tesla Superchargers be added to Connected Navigation

So, Ford hasn't done something that makes sense, and instead is doing something that doesn't make sense. Why are you surprised?
  15. Changes coming to Public Charging app

Thank you for being the best part of the Ford Family. (lol)
  16. Back camera recall

It's an update to the APIM module which Ford is capable of sending over the air (OTA.)
  17. Trunk rubber pads look...weird

Insert various jokes abusing the terms "chirp", "squeaky" and perhaps a reference about something slimy being less annoying. (I'd spend the time to do this properly, but I'm in a hurry...)
  18. Dashcam Installation Advice

If you don't care about parking mode, you might be better off getting power from the rear view mirror assembly. It's really easy with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1WSPCN2 I use that part along with the A229 Pro in my own car and it works great. Getting the rear camera...
  19. Back camera recall

Yeah, but there's usually a huge disconnect between having updated firmware available and actually pushing it out to affected cars. Reading the reuters article is amusing. For example: Umm... if the dealer is doing it, it isn't over the air... Oh, and this is discouraging: So, they don't...
