Almost every time I hear a rattle in my mach-e, it turns out to be glasses in the sunglass holder. (This is also probably one of the easiest things to check by just taking out the glasses.)
I feel bad about your car, but glad that you're (mostly) okay. I'd guess that your car is going to be totaled by insurance.
Seeing the front of your mach-e smashed in like that is painful, but now you probably know how 2025 owners feel about the smaller frunk. ;)
Is this from the B&O modification? If so, try to open the ACM module in FORScan as if you were going to modify a value. Instead, just click "WRITE ALL." (This will re-write all the values for the module.)
Then go into the DTC's and clear the ACM code and see if it comes back.
1. It would only be covered over the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.
2. It won't fix the problem anyway.
3. You might consider investing in a mongoose cable and power supply for doing FDRS updates yourself.
I need a clear window to properly see what happened in the video. Had the insurance company asked for the video, and it turned out to be a blurry, dirty mess where it wasn't very clear what happened, or the license plate of the car that backed into me wasn't very clear, they might have declined...
My mach-e was backed into by another car in a parking lot (I backed out of my spot, and then he backed into me.) I was told by my own insurance company that most insurance companies handle parking lot accidents as no-fault as it's extremely difficult to prove who backed into who.
My rear...
LOL!!! Somebody who knows what they're doing? At a dealership? LOL LOL LOL LOL
...with a trained eye? Really? I got a bridge I'd like to sell you...
You think they'll do all pending FDRS updates at the same time? I've got a bridge AND a piece of land I'd like to sell you...
Insert various jokes abusing the terms "chirp", "squeaky" and perhaps a reference about something slimy being less annoying. (I'd spend the time to do this properly, but I'm in a hurry...)
If you don't care about parking mode, you might be better off getting power from the rear view mirror assembly. It's really easy with something like this:

I use that part along with the A229 Pro in my own car and it works great.
Getting the rear camera...
Yeah, but there's usually a huge disconnect between having updated firmware available and actually pushing it out to affected cars. Reading the reuters article is amusing. For example:
Umm... if the dealer is doing it, it isn't over the air...
Oh, and this is discouraging:
So, they don't...
