As TRP states, I often launch the app on the phone as I approach the car. That said, there are times it doesn't work, so I follow similar steps.
That said, with the new PaaK update to the car, I've found that the outside lights turn on automatically...
Perhaps the use case is that this would be something you do when charging from 80% - 100% SoC.

I would *assume* that Alexa's voice recognition algorithms would be better than the built-in Ford ones... I also assume that Alexa would require some connectivity (sounds like it given the "free trial") - not sure that Ford's does?
