You have cars near you (and enough of them) that leak oil and fluids so much that they make the roads slippery?
Are you serious or was this just an attempt at an ICE joke?
Modern cars don’t leak oil.
Even classic cars wouldn’t leak enough to make a road noticeably slicker. And there...
^^ Don’t go wider.
Get some good summer tires that have better wet traction.
I put Pilot Sport 4S on my SS and they are by far the best tires I’ve ever owned. Amazing traction dry and wet (even for a high hp rwd car).
The only things ADM payers have in common are this:
Plenty of money
Lack of patience
Paying ADM is a choice for people who want to “skip the line.” Want to order a Mach E and pay MSRP? Wait 6 months.
Want one now? Pay ADM.
And yes, I know there are some lucky few that happen upon a...
I was gonna ask the same thing.
We are comparing apples to apples currently (60-100 mph times when starting from zero).
I don’t care how you slice it, a performance car should be capable of performance for more than 3 seconds and a time.
I don’t think a drag strip will allow you to take a...
You can get service anywhere.
And as long as you aren’t expecting “special treatment” and everything goes perfectly fine to the letter of the warranty, doesn’t matter where you get serviced.
Now when something DOES go wrong outside the normal and you need the dealer to be on your side asking...
Keep in mind these are preliminary numbers……..
But 60-100 is pretty easy to figure since we have the 0-60 and some 1/4 mile numbers.
4x 0-60 is about 5 seconds and it hits 100 in about 13.
So roughly 8 seconds 60-100.
GT is 4 seconds to 60 and 12 to 100.
So roughly 8 seconds 60-100.
Most of the dealer model complaints center around one thing: Price.
Seems like the manufacturer can fix that very easily. And with vehicles like the Mach E mostly selling at Msrp, it is already “fixed.”
The downside is that for every six people that hate to “haggle,” there’s another six that...
How brave are you with your money?
History is filled with “revolutionary” car companies that failed miserably.
Other than Tesla, which brand new car company made it in the last 80 years? Heck we could even argue that Tesla hasn’t quite “made it” yet.
It could be a huge success or...
Sounds like a part time job. I’ll make more than $600 if I did a part time job.
Some people look at things like this as a fun hobby (like extreme couponing). Doesn’t sound fun to me though. To each their own.
It doesn’t really matter which MYP times we compare. Above 50mph our fastest times are still way off their slowest so far.
Unfortunately I haven’t seen many published “official” times for anything other than 1/4 mile and 0-60 for the MYP.
Yup, it’s slow compared to the competition.
Can’t find a 70-100 for the Model Y, but it does 60-100 in 4.75. 70-100 likely under 4 seconds. The Mach E seems to be around 8 or more seconds 60-100.
That’s some fuzzy math though. Hitting 100 1.3 seconds DOES NOT equate to 1.3 seconds faster in the 1/4.
The Model Y perf hits 100 more than 3 seconds faster than the GTP so far and is only about half a second faster in the 1/4.
