    GT/GTPE power gauge

I've seen discussion about this, but don't know where, talking about how the front motor only kicks in under certain circumstances. Acceleration is one of those conditions, but it's retarded some and that's possibly why we have slippage without a rollout. Also reason that we experience...

    Charging over 80% daily

Charge to 90% daily (Ford recommended) and the car has a schedule feature that will stop it at your predefined limit so you don't have to go out to the garage and unplug it.

    GT/GTPE power gauge

You guys have it correct. Blue is power delivery, green is regen and grey is blocked out from power delivery. It's a limiter that kicks in for thermal management and low battery. The grey bars essentially mean you can't have that power until they go away. This is where all the drama over...

[Video] My Experience with Lane Keep Assist & Rain

Thank you. I guess I just assumed it was one in the same. My other vehicles called it the same thing regardless of if it was activated with cruise or without. Interestingly, Audi gives it a different name, but only for low speed, similar to Ford's "stop and go" language via the link you sent...

[Video] My Experience with Lane Keep Assist & Rain

Thank you both I changed the title. And that would explain why @JohnnyForensic was probably confused. My apologies. Why they change the name when it's used in conjunction with cruise and without is quite strange especially since with BC you have no option to disable it, nor would you want to...

    What Are You Hauling?

I only haul around little monsters... Don't let @HuntingPudel know because he doesn't want to take on this battle.

    12Volt Battery Specs?

I had no clue that Li wouldn't charge below freezing before you said this. Thanks for the education!

[Video] My Experience with Lane Keep Assist & Rain

Just to be clear, this isn't ACC, it's Lane Keep Assist. So no cruise was activated at this time, including BlueCruise. I mentioned BC because it would render it useless if someone wanted to have it on. Lane Assist (Audi's language) will keep you in the lane in inclement weather on my other...

    12Volt Battery Specs?

Here's a good video of it, you should be able to get all the info you're looking for from part #BHAGM-H3. Go to the 5 minute mark. Looks like lead to me. Just a word of warning. On some newer cars you have to re-program the battery to the specific cell type. Switching from lead to lithium...

[Video] My Experience with Lane Keep Assist & Rain

A while back I wrote a thread about BlueCruise and a question from @RMoore was asked of me regarding inclement weather and Lane Centering. At the time of my BlueCruise trip the weather was perfect so I responded to him with my experiences using Audi's version called Lane Assist. I gave him my...

    Question on electronic frunk release

Ok so here's my last follow up based on what people have asked me to try. Via the keypad the frunk cannot be opened while in drive by executing the code + 7-8 The frunk can be opened via the keypad while the car is "on", just has to be in park The car CAN be driven with the frunk open. It...

    ChargePoint Users Step in

Completely normal. I have some screenshots of mine charging here: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/fordpass-charging-i-get-2493-miles-per-charge-do-you.10397/ I should add that I have it as a "plugin" with a 50A circuit so I'm slightly lower as 50A is the highest for plugin (40A...

Battery Power reduction on long trip

I have no evidence of my statements that I'm about to make, but on my previous EV this would happen at low charge in order to get the most out of what's left to get you to a charger. In other words it would limit acceleration, climate control, power delivery and top speed due to the low...

    Question on electronic frunk release

I can confirm that neither of these key presses do anything for the MME - on my version of firmware. @mkhuffman I was unable to get the windows to go up and down using the key fob, button hold. So it appears the only way to do this is via the FP app.

FordPass Charging - I get 2493 miles per charge. Do you?

Yeah since I have the GTPE I guess your EPA numbers will be higher 😜 Much bigger than a poodle 🐩

    Question on electronic frunk release

You can do this in the FP app. You might be able to by holding lock (for up) and unlock (for down) on the key fob as well. That's how it is with Audi. We have an atmospheric river over us right now so probably not the best time for me to try that one, but I'll get back to you on it.

    Question on electronic frunk release

But as I found out it doesn't turn off an already turned on car when done via the keypad. I'll try shifting into drive with it open tomorrow and also try the 7-8 while in drive already. Too late, my "accident attorneys" were provided with screenshots.
