Customer Satisfaction Program 21P22 - Software Calibration Update

Thanks. That’s what I would have expected, simpler design less weight and potential problems. I’ve read other posts on half shaft issue and my symptoms don’t fully match but it’s been something I’ve considered. Can’t explain why it’s intermittent if the shaft is bad. Seems it should be...

Customer Satisfaction Program 21P22 - Software Calibration Update

Does anyone know if there’s a parking pawl on the front motor? This may be the intermittent ratchet noise I hear.

AOSK Mach-E Mud Flap is coming soon! No Drilling Cutting is required, expecting available at late Nov or early Dec

Get the regen issue. Our 2008 Toyota hybrid had a similar problem. 6% grade for 3 miles would nearly fry the battery but the car didn’t stop. Just kept pushing electrons. By 2010 they figured this out and added back pressure from the ice to burn off current from the regen. Nothing like a...

Which begs the question @Kamuelaflyer where’s our report on climbing Mauna Kea from the other corner of the island? Inquiring minds want to know… 😏

    Automatic Seat Warmer??

It does seem to back off, but still keeps your hands nice and toasty. Our Bolt does the same thing.

    Too many Mach-E’s!

Just got back from Ann Arbor and happy to report, finally saw two Mach E’s in the wild there. A Star White premium on Ann Arbor Saline Road merging onto I-94 East and a Black Premium charging in the 5th street garage. Also saw a White Summit Premier and Grey Bolt at the Meijer on AA/S Road...

Explained: The Thermal Problem with Mach-E

My opinion… Gray Bars != Turtle Mode Turtle Mode is a specific state in most EV’s where you are speed limited to conserve battery on a severely depleted HVB or drivetrain malfunction. Generally associated with a warning to the driver via message or specific indicator light. At least that’s...

Explained: The Thermal Problem with Mach-E

They also got it right about the Cooper SE. That car is a blast to drive. Feels faster than the MachE (but isn’t) and handles like a dream.

Explained: The Thermal Problem with Mach-E

Not once have i seen turtle mode in 8,000 miles. Even after hard driving/passing on the interstate hills around me.

How many started with Toyota Prius followed by Nissan Leaf followed by Chevy Bolt followed by Mustang Mach E?

2008 Hybrid Camry (son #1 wrecked last year) 2010 Prius (with son #1 now) 2017 Bolt Premier (with son #2) 2018 Hybrid Camry (wife’s, sits in garage) 2021 Mini Cooper SE (wife’s daily) 2021 MachE FE (mine!!!) That first hybrid changed my view of cars forever paving the way for our EV dominated...

[OTA] 1.7.1 Appears to be incoming

Thanks. I did not realize that. I have no real use for the hotspot despite multiple vehicles that support it. All my passengers generally bring their own data plans 😀.

Is it just me or is my premium getting less bouncy.

Feels more settled to me overall, but still present on I-5 and I-90 in the concrete zones. I’m now at 8,000 miles with tires at 39 (cold).

[OTA] 1.7.1 Appears to be incoming

+1 I don’t even have to wake it either. There is no cellular indicator other than the one for your phone. If AT&T is not your cell carrier, you won’t be able to tell (I should have mentioned that). Happens that I am an AT&T customer. I was initially resistant to putting the car on WIFI, but...

[OTA] 1.7.1 Appears to be incoming

Sorry you’re not jealous 😜. As others have posted, the update is certainly a welcomed improvement. I’ve got that new car feeling again 😛.

[OTA] 1.7.1 Appears to be incoming

To those still waiting for 1.7.1 I would suggest you confirm cell signal and WIFI signal strength where you park your MachE. There's an excellent post by @breeves002 at OTA Updates - Technical Info | Ford Mustang Mach-E Forum - MachEforum.com , that details the requirements of how OTA's work...

    Mach-E Cabin Air Circulation Question

Many modern cars turn this off when parking to help defeat the musty smell when A/C is used. But they then restore the setting on the next key cycle to what was there at the last power off. Would be nice if MachE did this.

    Electric car Parking etiquette?

We actually have ev spots without chargers in Washington. Few, but they do exist. If there’s a charger, you know what it’s meant for.
