    Mach E Rattle Issue

"Rattling" is really subjective. One person might get in a car and think it's falling apart, and another might not hear a thing. For what it's worth, your Mach-E will have a warranty which I assume would cover any objectionable rattles. Also, Teslas are American cars, too. Might as well compare...

Am I missing something BIG by not ordering AWD?

Agree with the above posts. Unless you're concerned with the 0-60 times, in California, you won't see any benefit from AWD. You'll just get less range. RWD is absolutely fine. (I drove a RWD Mustang GT as my only car for 10 years... and that's in winter, too). If you really wanted to drive in...

Submitted Orders # Tracking List and Stats [Enter Yours]

Whomever is managing the list -- please remove my build date and delivery date for now. Those were just estimates from my dealer. I'll update this again when I have a real build date.

    SHADOW BLACK Mach-E Club

Profile still from that video. I'm trying to figure out if the "illusion" of the fastback roofline is diminished with black vs the other colors. It seems like it's still there to me.

Mach-E Photos and Impressions from Somerville, NJ Event

I've been curious about this since I first learned of this effect. I have a black car on order, and I'm worried it will look "chunky" in black because of the loss of the "illusion". That being said, in one of the webex presentations Ford did a few weeks ago, they mentioned that this illusion...

    What other color?

Agreed. That's "Dark Highland Green". I'm disappointed by the color options on the Mach-e.

Front trunk (frunk) organizer / divider / storage system shown in images

Just some speculation about the frunk divider -- and maybe this has been discussed before -- but I bet it's there for some weird regulatory reason. For instance, with the divider in, it probably satisfies some legal requirement about not having enclosed spaces where someone could get trapped...

New Knowing Your Mustang Mach-E Video : E-Latch Door System

I considered that, too. I think you're right -- it probably only works when the 12v circuit is dead. I suppose that is acceptable. Although, just to play devil's advocate, I guess if somebody was REALLY interested in getting into the frunk, they could short the terminals or put a high load on...

New Knowing Your Mustang Mach-E Video : E-Latch Door System

I'm wondering about the backup "jumper cable" port on the front bumper. Does this mean someone with a 12v booster pack can go around popping peoples' frunks open? Or is this (hopefully) only possible with a key fob also within range? I'm hoping for the latter.

    Jump starting ICEs

The second icon from the left looks like a fuse. The fusebox might be near the battery under that shroud, as well.

That was actually a complete guess, based on what the Dealer told me. He said he expected it to be delivered by February, and to begin being built 3 weeks prior. I thought the fields were required; but in this case they should be cleared out since they're just estimates.
