    2022 Fisker Ocean anyone?

Not sure the I-Pace is a competitor since it is double the price of the Fisker. The Ocean is interesting though, has some unique ideas and is toward the lower cost end of the EV spectrum. I hope they can get into production and have a compelling vehicle.

    VW ID.4 Unveiled Today

I yawned and almost fell asleep after seeing that exterior design. If you like vanilla, you'll love that SUV. I understand that not all cars can be compelling, but seriously, that is dull.

    INFINITE BLUE METALLIC Mach-E Club

I think you might be a little too pessimistic. COVID-19 did and is still doing tough things for selling cars, especially expensive cars. Mach E might be in that same boat once they pass the initial enthusiasts. I'm sure Jaguar is responding to the new market conditions, but in the meantime...

    INFINITE BLUE METALLIC Mach-E Club

Might still be worth a check. I heard there were some pretty good deals on 2020 models as well, but maybe not like the 2019's. 2020 prices may also come down a bit when the 2021's come out. I also searched nationwide when I was looking. With those discounts, flying and driving it back or having...

    INFINITE BLUE METALLIC Mach-E Club

I bought an I-Pace at the end of May and cancelled my Mach E GT reservation. https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/mach-e-vs-i-pace.750/page-7#post-16265 The car has been just terrific. The car just feels great to drive, is incredibly fast, luxurious (in a more traditional way compared to...

    Polestar 2 US price announced

Of course you can buy an alternative product from another supplier with less or no tariff. There has to be some consequences to unfair trade practices.

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

While there are obviously I-Pace owners dealing with problems, I think much of it was early on when everyone was learning how to own, operate and maintain the I-Pace, including JLR. There are also many sections of that forum with HIGHLY enthusiastic I-Pace owners that love their ride and love to...

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

Little or nothing, I believe. Some improvements to the infotainment system and cosmetic options coming in the 2021 model. 2019 and 2020 were very much the same.

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

Definitely need to watch out for deals that are "too good to be true" and make sure you do your due diligence. Some dealers are also selling "punched" cars that are new, but technically purchased by the dealer and the warranty started when the dealer "bought" it.

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

I highly doubt that. They did take a huge hit due to market conditions (and the unnatural love for Tesla over everyone else so far), but ultimately, supply and demand do kick in. I would not count on a continued precipitous fall over and above normal depreciation due to mileage and age. They are...

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

You can get a new I-Pace for at least $20k off of MSRP. With around 10k miles like your examples, even cheaper. Still get the $7500 tax credit if new.

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

Battery is 8 year, 100,000 miles. Everything else including maintenance is 5 year, 60,000 miles. Infotainment could be better, but it is better than the car I traded in for it. And the drive, quality, and comfort are superb.

If bringing home a Mach E GT, then probably not. 👍

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

We're watching for sure. I do think Jaguar is too valuable to not continue, but it may pair down some of its lineup and focus on the profitable segments and future tech. Might need the sniper approach and not the buckshot with their lineup. We'll see if Tata makes changes, sells, or reinvests...

    Mach E Incentives?

Found this on carsdirect.com: "While upcoming models promise new levels of performance, the new Ford Mustang Mach-E already features its first incentives. We've uncovered up to $2,500 in rebates and as well as 0.9% APR financing. Due to begin arriving in late 2020, the Mach-E will debut new...

    A goodbye to all

This is a "punched" car where the dealer "purchases" the car and then sells it as used or demo. You should have no problem getting the Federal tax credit, but you do lose some of the warranty. It is part of the reason the deals can be even sweeter, but there is a minor downside. @HopefulAl ...

    Mach e vs. I-Pace

It was absolutely unexpected for me and I think @Ken7 as well. The I-Pace has been a welcome and out-of-the-blue revelation. As soon as this Coronavirus thing settles a bit more, I should actually get a chance to drive it regularly! 👍

Decided to cancelled Mach E for a Model Y

I think it was! Not a bad place to be. :p
