Assuming that your particular car is still covered under the Ford warranty ...
Do we have such a thread somewhere on the forum?
The more I read, the more confusing it is to figure out what is and isn't covered under warranty.
For example, if you have a failed OTA update a week/month/year ago...
I've mentioned this issue elsewhere on the forum, when talking about other issues, but I want to make a specific thread to try to find out if this is happening to anyone else on a regular basis, and if there's a fix for it.
I bought my GTPE new, about 4 weeks ago. Ever since, the Connectivity...
Will possibly be parking the MME outside during a Canadian winter, and am interested in purchasing a decent car cover that's good for those conditions (snow, ice, rain, small tree branches).
I started an initial search, and my Facebook feed is now full of ads from numerous car cover companies...
If you drive a U.S.-licensed MME into Canada, is there a seamless transition with regards to Over-The-Air updates and BlueCruise? Does the car automatically connect OTA through the Canadian cell phone network? Do any adjustments need to be made?
I bought a new 2023 GTPE from a west coast dealer last week, and subsequently drove it home to the east coast. After getting home, I started adjusting the car settings, and noticed that the car was at:
Sync4 Software Version: 22326_PRODUCT
Revision: 640
Moreover, although the car is supposed...
Some areas of the country (California, Florida, etc.) have an $8,500 Ford lease incentive on 2023s, while the rest of the country only gets $7,500. Is the ability to get the $8,500 based on the location of the dealership where you lease the car from, or the area where I (the lessee) live and...
Although I have not signed the paperwork yet, I recently completed an online "reservation" to lease a 2023 GTPE through a specific dealer for a specific price. The car now shows up in my Ford account when I log in, and I have to schedule a pick-up date to get the car and sign the paperwork...
Looks like no lease rebate and only market-rate interest rates on purchases (except 3- and 4-year terms, which are a bit below market rates). If the 2024s offered the $7,500 lease rebate, I think I would wait for a 2024 ... now, I'm leaning towards a discounted 2023 with the $7,500 lease...
As I understand it, although the 2023 MMEs are not eligible for the $7,500 tax credit on purchases, they are eligible for the $7,500 if leased, due to a "tax loophole". In their most recent promotion, Ford has essentially chosen to pass this $7,500 through to consumers who lease new 2023 MMEs...
Do they extend the existing offer? Do we get an even better offer? Worse? Any thoughts appreciated, as I try to figure out whether I should get my ducks in a row by April 2nd, or if it's smarter to wait.
Has anyone calculated the money factor / interest rate on the new MME promotional leases that Ford announced recently? Or has Ford disclosed it? I know the purchase option has a 0% rate up to 72 months, but was curious to know the rate for the leases?
My 2022 standard-range Mach-E sat in my south Florida garage from early-May 2023 to early-December 2023 (seven of the hottest months in Florida) while both batteries were fully connected ... I had planned to disconnect the 12 volt battery, as suggested, before I left, but we had a mini-emergency...
So I'm certainly no expert on how these OTA updates work, but in my casual reading over the last year on this forum, I'm getting the impression that two people who have essentially the same car/model may NOT receive OTA updates at the same time? Is this the case? If so, what is the reason that...
