I tried the cable as well, from phone it seems to connect but in car it says disconnected. Now it is just saying constantly on phone screen in car 'connecting to phone' no-stop - even after powering down and walking away. Seems either delete profile and re-create, or one or both of the resets...

Yes, tried several combinations of rebooting the phone and restarting the car including shutting the car off and walking away for a while (20 mins+). All to no avail. Figuring now with the phone showing but not deleting it is bugged and either profile remove or master reset probably necessary.
