It really depends what percentage your 12V is at. The update won’t go through if it’s under 80%. Also unplug any accessories like dashcams, etc.

Do FordPass Rewards Points expire?FordPass Rewards Point balances expire and are forfeited when a member has not earned or redeemed Points for two years. App usage does not qualify as activity needed to keep a member’s account from expiring.
Thanks sucks dude. All my cars have dashcams now.
We like Thinkware and Blackvue. IMO, 2 channels is a must. ODB power plug available if you don't want to hardwire (if not using parking mode).

From a person that doesn't normally like 1PD driving, descending down a mountain would be the perfect time for 1PD driving. Gotta slow down for curves which cruise control wouldn't do so well with.
Yikes! Sorry you had to go through that.
We are currently on a Los Angeles to Vegas road trip. We used EA at Hesperia and it was great. EA at Baker seems derated but works. Now to find a good EA here in Vegas…
Just wanted to add another data point.
I have a dashcam installed and had a bunch of failed 4.2.6 attempts.
Drove the car around for 30min, unplugged dashcam and charged to 100%. Then immediately started the software update and it finally worked.
Of course had to drive it to get the battery...
