Our Mach-E also has been towed once when my wife parked it in the wrong place. I got a lot of alerts and the handle/brake felt very weird when I found my car in the towing company's yard.
It turns out that many alerts are just gone when you drive a few miles. We first argued with the towing...
In Boston, I was a fan of Waze. However, after moving to Chicago, I found surprisingly Apple Maps is superior to Waze or Google Maps. The UI is much better, fonts are more comfortable to read, information about road closures is more accurate, etc.
And in Chicago, information about cops shown in...
Thanks for sharing! There are several other models uploaded to the public. I myself have printed this one which has been useful: https://www.printables.com/model/168742-mustang-mach-e-shelf-clip
There was another that I found difficult to use: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5198253
That is really bad. I was forgetting how much it costs for gas... That was actually one reason why I rented a Tesla as they will probably not reimburse for the gas. (And my apartment has free EV chargers.) Fortunately, some Hertz have very cheap Teslas ($180/week) in my area for rental.
Just got an update that those nuts and bolts are off the backorder possibly on 6/6. In such a case it could take up to 8 weeks. And they cannot promise to cover the whole rental until I submit the receipt---which is very frustrating.
One thing I'm worried about after reading this is, as I drove my car after this "mild" (orange) warning sign without any noticeable issues for about 2-3 weeks, if they decide to change the whole motor. If the engineer already diagnosed my car to change the oil assembly, is there no chance that...
I'm waiting for my car to be repaired from this issue, and it's been 3 weeks since the dealership had my car. I believe I have to wait at least a week as they still don't have the ETA. The funny thing is that they already had an oil pump assembly from day one, but they are waiting for the...
I mean, not urgent in the sense that you have some time to call several places near you. It is not like your car is stuck on the road, so I could've decided a better place (maybe suburb rather than downtown) to get me a loaner after some research. I didn't go to the nearest dealership which has...
Also, I got a lesson from this experience. Call dealerships to check if they have loaner cars before going to service, if not urgent. If they don't have any loaner cars (I heard most don't), then it would be so frustrating to deal with rental. I had no idea at all as this was my first car and...
Wow... 50 days. That is unacceptable. Hope you get your car back soon, and also get reimbursed for those amounts.
Is that long delay just because they couldn't get the part yet? According to other post, swapping the oil pump should take just a few hours.
This number works! It first asks the representative numbers to connect with, but by ignoring twice, it connects me to someone who actually knows the shit.
One I chatted with was very helpful, assuring me that Ford will reimburse $40/day for non-Ford vehicles and $45/day for Ford vehicles for...
Hmm.... I first tried the chat on Ford website and this is what I got. These sound like BS. This person even doesn't want to open a ticket for BEV team although I asked several times.

Thank you for holding. So your vehicle’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW or Bumper-to-Bumper) is still...
I got a powertrain / reduced power error, and it turned out that they have to replace the oil pump.
I dropped my car off last Thursday, but it seems like the part is on backorder, and this service center has no car for rental. Some previous posts suggest this might take at most a month, or so...
How did it go? I got exactly the same message, and I drove 2 weeks already before going to the service, as that was the earliest possible reservation.
I also got a call that they have to replace the oil pump. It was last Thursday, but they still didn't get the part that is on backorder, so I...
In Korea, there have been many EV related fires and their official method now is making a temporary 'swimming pool' around the EV car and filling the water.
I got my Mach-E in April this year, and at some point got notified there would be a software recall in mid-July. However, this alert is still on (both in Fordpass and the website), saying the recall is incomplete as in the screenshot.
I wondered if there is an issue with updating my car because...
