    7/11/22 Build Week Gang

Incompetence on the part of Norfolk Southern and Jack Cooper. It had been sitting 5 miles away from the dealership since August 5th.

    Goodbye Mach e

Ignore the fanboys. The Mach-E is Fordā€™s first real EV (Iā€™m not counting compliance cars and PHEVs). Itā€™s still a bit rough around the edges, and could use some refinement before itā€™s ready for the masses. If youā€™re an EV enthusiast, willing to put up with the current charging network, a hit or...

    7/11/22 Build Week Gang

Has anyone with a 7/11 build had their MME delivered to the dealership? Mine is PCON at the local NS rail yard.

    7/11/22 Build Week Gang

Norfolk Southern's automated system says that my MME arrived at the final rail yard. Not sure how long it takes to get from the yard to the dealership (the rail yard is only 5mi from my dealership). I would love to pick it up tomorrow, but it probably won't be ready for delivery until Monday or...

    7/11/22 Build Week Gang

Looks like my MME left Kansas City and arrived in Elkhart, IN at 10:21 this morning. I'm located in Northeast Ohio, so It's only one state away.

    Signature Light Removal

How much do you think this saves Ford? Maybe $40 per car? This is on the GT and & Premium trims, so they are already higher margin vehicles.

    7/11/22 Build Week Gang

That's awesome! I assume that you can't go though the online buying process until the Mach-E arrives at your dealership?

ā° No Mach-E Scheduling Next Week (July 4)

Maybe my 10/21 order actually has a chance of being built the week of 7/11, and not pushed back another week. *fingers crossed

Mach-E Production Costs Increases and No Longer Profitable For Ford

I loved my Maverick Hybrid, but having a truck just wasnā€™t for me. Itā€™s too long. Iā€™d prefer a Bronco Sport Hybrid with the Maverick XLTā€™s interior and price. Unfortunately that probably wonā€™t happen. The Maverick is a steal.

Mach-E Production Costs Increases and No Longer Profitable For Ford

I get your point, but Iā€™d argue itā€™s closer to an Escape Titanium, which goes for $35K. I know this from personal experience, as thatā€™s my fiancĆ©ā€™s car. They are incredibly similar in terms of size, features, and build quality. Heck the Mach-Eā€™s GE1 platform is just a heavily modified version of...

    ā± Mach-E Scheduling Next Week (6/20) For Build Weeks 7/18 and 7/25

Fingers crossed that my 10/21 order, which was originally scheduled for 6/6, doesnā€™t get pushed back again tomorrow.

Safety Recall 22S41 - 2021-2022 Mach E - HVBJB Recall [high voltage battery main contactors may overheat]

I just got a text stating that my Mach-E has been restricted. Not sure what this means since my build date is 7/11, and is not part of the recall.

    ā± Mach-E Scheduling Next Week (5/30) For Build Weeks 7/4 Through 7/25

At this point, I dread weekly scheduling updates. My 10/21 build has been pushed back 4 times now. I just checked and they moved me back another week to 7/11. Frankly, this is incredibly unprofessional. Ford needs to stick to their build dates and ensure that they actually have the parts...
