I agree with everything said so far. I'm guessing the prior hosts candid nature may have turned away sponsors. I remember when they were sponsored by Electrify America, then during the podcasts the hosts would crap all over EA's network (and rightfully so). Made me laugh out loud but also...
I agree. I really liked the four guys on the podcast and will continue to follow them on their new channel. Looks like insideEV has already replaced them as of yesterday.
I've had some of the foam come out but there are several days a week where I have to park outside with direct exposure to the AZ sun and 110+ degree weather.
Anyone have a shop they would recommend to take off the brake calipers and paint them. I already have the G2 paint kit. Was planning on doing it myself, but when I took off the wheels and saw how close the brake lines were to the calipers, I changed my mind. I could probably do it all myself but...
Have to agree with this. All the articles I've read so far seem to indicate aerodynamics makes more of a difference than weight reductions when it comes to EV's.
Hi Aosk.
Would you happen to have a scan of these two light reflectors? I was thinking about 3D printing these to color-match my car with a clear plastic cover.
CA Rte 1 AWD & ext battery here. I've taken the trip twice from Phoenix to Williams (the family loves Bearizona). Two adults, two kids, overnight bags. First time got to Flagstaff and ended with about 26% going about 10 over. Second time had about 34% when we hit Flagstaff as I was staying at...
I may have gone overboard with my install but my last spoiler started to separate on one side so didn't want to take any chances on my current spoiler.
Took off the tape that came with the spoiler and used Scotch/3m Extreme Mounting Tape instead.
Cleaned the spoiler and the trunk lid with 70%...
I was also considering an Ioniq 5 at the time when I was in the market (late 2021, early 2022). In terms of size, they are actually fairly comparable. The Ioniq 5/EV6 has a better charging system than the Mach-E but lower range because of the smaller battery. The pricing at the time was better...
I got my first chip within a month of owning the car. Got a full on crack the second month and had to wait 2 weeks for a windshield to be available. Just got another chip about 10 months in. I would say compared to other glass, it seems to be less "sturdy" than my prior experiences.
The edge on mine was starting to come loose so I decided to remove the spoiler. I used a heat gun, generous amounts of isopropyl alcohol, and patience (to let the alcohol soak through). Only got a small chip and some slight marring after taking it off.
Have you tried Dr. Colorchip? I've had...
I have a Rte 1. The only major difference from Select is the extended battery and glass roof.
I work in insurance and so vehicle accidents are on my mind quite a bit, especially here in Phoenix where the drivers are quite terrible (on par or as terrible as Southern CA drivers). I just like to...
