I do have the
Not a chance. I am very well aware of their battery size. I think this has a lot to do with sentry mode and the overheat protection Tesla have. Both these features use a lot of battery. I feel like the MMEs battery never drains when it is turned off. I live in Florida so the...
Me and my wive have a very similar rout to work and identical distance so I compare the daily percentage used between the MME and the Model Y. I use about 7% of my battery while she uses about 12% for the same rout practically. I have not done any scientific tests but this is what I see daily...
4600 miles here and the car has been doing great. A lot of the software glitches have been fixed and now I am really happy with the car. I have had no issues at all. This car uses a lot less energy than my previews Tesla model S and my wife's model Y.
I have had 4.1.2 now for a couple of weeks and I am very happy. The biggest problem I had with this car was CarPlay and for me it has been fixed. It has been 100% reliable since the first day I got the update. Three thing I wish for now and I will be very satisfied with this car.
1. Blue cruise...
Got 4.1.2 a couple of days ago as well. This is a huge change from before in performance not necessarily in features. CarPlay has been super reliable and I feel like PAAK is working much better. I hope they keep getting it better. The icons and buttons remind me of the old Tesla UI. I think...
That didn't work the first time. I did it 3-4times and it started working. It is very inconsistent, it can go for days without a problem and then it stops working. I am not sure what they do different from other car companies that use wireless CarPlay! I hear it works flawlessly in other cars.
I rebooted the car a few times and rebooted my phone and it is connecting sometimes now. I have to say this is the most annoying thing about this car. I can deal PAAK without a problem because just opening the app it works. IF CarPlay decides not to connect you can't do anything to fix it.
The 2023 MY has a better suspension then before but is not more comfortable then the Mach e. I think the difference between the cars is the handling. The MY doesn't swing like the MME, it hugs the road much better. You do feel all the big bumps on the road just like you do with the MME.
I have no objection about the price price difference but that again it is a budget thing. When we talk about a comparison stand point of car to car I think they are very comparable. If we are comparing the charging network and long travel ease then the Tesla wins.
This seems like a useless argument to have on this forum. This is a Mach e forum and the people here want to discuss about this awesome EV. I own both the Model Y and the Mach E and they are both great cars but I can tell you neither of them are perfect so if you want to be unhappy with...
I agree that you get a lot of car for the price in this segment and that it is definitely a nice car but there are some flaws that Ford should be able to fix easily. My wife just picked up a 2023 model Y so I have a direct comparison and I am very impressed with the handling on that car. My car...
The software issues on this car are very frustrating and quite disappointment. Since the update the Carplay works only about 40% of the time. It is such a nice car but let down by stupid software glitches.
