This sounds more like a 3.* update, I'm pretty sure they would have mentioned the new UI. I hope, however, that the last update will at least make Android Auto work in stretch mode.

a. I don't think the cause was determined, I could not find any information on this. But it would be nice if Ford investigated this further. b. Why? AFAIK this is how it is usually done with EVs and it seemed to work at least on this case.

Supposedly it started with the battery. There is no charger at that gas station, which makes it quite clear that the car was not charging. Nobody got hurt and the fire was put out quickly. Still, very unfortunate, especially that there are not that many Mach-Es in Poland (745 sold in 2022)...

And even if the door did not lock for any reason, it would have been hard to drive away without a key because your also need a key to put it into Drive.

Nope, I got it for my '21 car.

I noticed the same thing on mine today when plugging in. Before it also made some clicking noises but with a different timing. Just recently I got the 22-PU0603-DC-CHG OTA update so maybe that's what caused it.

Faster updates to EU vehicles.
