Had the TSB applied last week and I have BC back...but have also had 1PD automatically disable itself twice (1st time the morning after being at the dealer) just driving down my driveway in the 5 days since. Hopefully it is just a minor glitch in the matrix (happened a few random times before)...

I 3D printed some at home, they aren't pretty, but you don't see them with the tag installed on the car anyway. But no more sensor falsing since I put them on about a year ago.

You're going to have to raise hell directly with Ford. Whomever the dealer called is probably paid to say no, if they even called anyone at all. Dealers HATE warranty work because they are reimbursed a set amount of money for the work and can't charge the inflated book rate on simple jobs...

It was broken by the OTA? I'd be all over Ford to reimburse you for that. They broke it, they can't successfully fix it via OTA, so it isn't your problem you had to bring it into a dealer to fix their screw up.

I would say between this crapshow, and their inability to deliver any updates to BC (despite being promised 1.2 nearly a year ago) I'd say a year would be the minimum I'd accept.

If someone paid a premium on the sticker price of the car, I have a hard time paying to be allowed to keep using it. If you want and pay for updates, fine. But it shouldn't just shut off entirely unless you continue to shell out money to Ford.
