Writing about high failure doesn't ring true to me. Mine had zero issues. Our son's Mach e AWD has zero issues.
The Mach e GT AWD does not fail for all spirited drivers.
I drove ours with performance in mind for 7k trouble free miles. Zero issues for the GT. Several long multi state trips...
Chicagoland. Pano glass roof, bluecruise, both summer and winter mats. MSRP was 67,205. Best offer. This is the coolest car we have ever had. You should enjoy this, too! We cannot keep it.
DM'd you. I have an orange GT in Chicagoland. Will sell for best offer over 60k. 5,200 miles, pano roof, bluecruise and summer/winter mats. MSRP 67,205
As few have stated, I purchased the GT over the PE based on the wheels, summer tires, seats and $6k. I'm sure mangia ride is Gouda, but I would not deal with (for me) less comfy seats, slightly more torque and slightly less implied range. I'm happy. Glad they build both.

My GT holds the road and corners flat amazingly well, for the 5,000 pounds of battery powered SUV that it is.
Pretty sure that the porpoise issue is a road vs wheelbase issue. Stiff suspension to support 5000# cornering vs concrete road imperfections. neVAr happens on smooth asphalt...
The TRUTH:
Max battery life is to always be 45 - 65%.
The batteries can go down near zero and up to 100, but that is a lot of stress near zero and 100.
Under 20% is more wear, over 90% is more wear. This is going to happen, and it's designed for it.
Keeping the battery ready for a journey...
For winter charging without heat at a DCFC, I highly recommend a Rumpl blanket or two. They are crazy warm and pack super small. It's like they are powered. I'm keeping one around all winter. Best investment evAr. Our GT is living outside and we don't have a charger. It's going to be 10f...
Range goes down with cold. It's not simple. Batteries are less able to hold a charge, less able to deliver power, less able to get a charge. Motors are less efficient, air is denser and interior heat takes a lot of power. I'm expecting big changes. My GOM reads 150 at 83% charge. 24 degrees, an...
22 GT here. Not worried.
drive everywhere, long trips, lots of fun and 100% trouble free reliable for 5000 miles in the first 2 months. several 500 mile road trips
Th' engineer was looking at my MME GT and recommended to not exceed 90% SOCD, not SOC calculated. Don't overthink it.
The suggestion is to be an advocate to get nearest to 45-65% for all uses. Obviously, many will want to and need to get closer to 0-100% for some uses.
The key here is not to...
I met an engineer who works on developing car batteries. We had a long chat about best practices for battery health and max range. Normal use exceptions will come up for nearly all users. Each rule can be 'broken' multiple times, and there is a small cost to each time. More times broken, the...
No Mo Hands Free liftgate fo 2022. My loaded 2022 GT doesn't have it. Dealer or Ford told me this had to be deleted months ago. Park Assist was taken out and noted on the sticker. Neither matter to me. This Mach e is still amazing without those features.
Iowa was Shell
Indiana and IL are Electrify America. The Indiana ones are newer and clearly marked 150 or 350. No sticker over another. They all work, and I saw several used before / while / after me.
We have a 2022 GT and the ride is great. Our GT is actually the smoothest riding in our stable. My other car has Magna Ride. Your post may be further truth that Magna Ride does little. Drove my GT 250 miles of bumpy midwest highways yesterday. Firm and smooth. Great ride, great handling. Don't...
A few to consider:
9200 S Western Evergreen Park, IL 10% - 81% 44 minutes 150 EA
4205 Commerce Dr. Lafayette, IN 28-97% 57 minutes 150 EA about 40 of that to 80%
They have 350 chargers, also. I was at a 150
Shell Recharge 11989 Hickman Rd Urbandale, IA 36-100 1hr 12. also about 40 minutes to 80%
Th' numbers - a 150 charger charged me at around 138 to start, then drifted lower.
The next door 350 charger was charging a Polestar with similar charge to mine at 98 to start.
I charged 20-95% in about one hour
Same charger a week ago ? - 100% in 1 hour 12
Last night a 150 EA charger took me...
I've charged at Electrify America in Illinois and Indiana. The 150 charges fast to 80% around 130kw to start. The kw go down as the charge increases. Up to 80% takes 20-40 minutes. Last night at EA, 10-81 at 44 minutes. New Mach e GT with 2,000 miles in road trips in three weeks. Great charging...
