Looks like you had the adapter. Were you borrowing one or did Ford send you a loaner?

I've had this issue. What I've done is disconnect the phone from car from the phone list/menu by pressing the CarPlay icon. Then click the CarPlay icon again. Seems to work for me. Probably not well described, sorry.

Thanks Doug for the review and video. I always enjoy the pace and quality of your videos. That case does look huge. I like the idea of all of those adapters, but that size.... Thanks again and keep the videos coming

My adapter is in the trunk unless I am going on a trip, then I move to the bonnet for easy access.

I've always head clicking when plugging in coming from the area near the shutters. I assumed it was normal sounds when getting ready to charge.

That seems to be the correct solution.

Thank you for letting me into the line to enter. Yes, it was too bad we couldn't put the ponies next to each other. Things were so busy it took a while to walk around and see the other cars. I did find you but you were also busy answering questions.

I have it and love it. It charges much faster, offers spots for two phones. And when you don't want to charge, you can just rotate the phone sideways and push to the far end of the charging pad - a little depression (for the lenses on your phone when charging) holds the phone nicely.

Reminder for this Saturday 10 to 2 on the Plaza. Only two MMEs registered, Priscilla is one of them. Pretty sure there was three last year. Come find me and we can share stories of cruising thru New Mexico.
