Going up the grade was the only time I made a conscious effort to stick around 75. On the valley floor, I was totally going with the flow of traffic. But since I was on the 5, I was on vigilant CHP alert.
Well, did the Grapevine in both directions this weekend. Yesterday, temps in the San Joaquin Valley were as high as 107. I shut off my a/c and I let the all the Toyotas going 80 mph pass me on the left! No WOTs for me (still did the DCFC sessions).

I'm going up to Monterey Car Week next weekend in my GTPE. I was planning to go up the Grapevine and cut across Pacheco Pass both ways. I usually take that route rather than taking the 101 to get up that way. Wish me luck.
