IMO, This is a problem with Tesla vision. It didn't understand the difference between being too close to someone while stopped vs parking.

I don't know why, but after 32 months with it I still find the rotary dial complicated in fast maneuvers and often end up in Park instead of Reverse. I wish it was just a twist left for R, right for D and then it returned to center, with a button for Park, like the dial shifter does in some Kia EVs.
