AhardFSU is correct. For the most part you don't need the EA app. I like it because it shows real-time availability, so before I stop I can see if chargers are down or in use.

I haven't seen anyone mention the Volvo XC40 Recharge, but I think it's a bit smaller. The MY and EV6 are the closest to the MME. An EV6 was my 2nd choice.
