  1. Mach-E non-functional after 23B50 charge cord stuck recall service

The GM OEM charger that came with my Bolt also isn't working with the Mach-E now. Not to mention, my Chevy Bolt has never had an issue charging on the Grizzl-E. The Grizzl-E Duo was an $800 charger and definitely isn't in the economy/junk category. Sorry, Ford can't expect that customers are...
  2. Mach-E non-functional after 23B50 charge cord stuck recall service

Thanks everyone. Yeah, after jumping the 12V I was able to charge the HVB again. The problem appears to be that, after the 23B50 update, my third-party charger (GRIZZL-E Duo) doesn't appear to work at all. The only charger that works now is the Ford OEM one that came with the car. The GRIZZL-E...
  3. Mach-E non-functional after 23B50 charge cord stuck recall service

Thanks! Ford Roadside Assistance is coming for the car now. I'm not quite comfortable/able to power the 12V to unlock the door as you described but I appreciate the helpful info. The tow is fully covered under warranty... hopefully this is a straightforward fix!
  4. Mach-E non-functional after 23B50 charge cord stuck recall service

Has this happened to anyone else? I just had the charge cord stuck recall fix completed at the dealership on Friday. I plugged in last night and this morning the car's getting zero power... can't even open the doors. The battery was low when I got it home last night (7%), but still, it should be...
  5. Could bad battery management actually be good (in CA)?

Got it, thanks! I apparently just misunderstood the CA warranty requirement. From what I'm now reading, looks like it's currently 10 years/150,000 miles insuring against battery failure/defects. The 80% SOH requirement is coming much later like you pointed out. I'll keep up my good battery...
  6. Could bad battery management actually be good (in CA)?

I live in CA and have owned my 2022 select rwd Mach-E for 10 months. I've only put 10,000 miles on it so far and have taken relatively good care of the battery, e.g., generally keep charge level between 30 and 90 percent and have never used DCFC to date. But in CA, I understand that BEV makers...
  7. Scratch repair experiences?

Thanks, I appreciate you sharing that video. I may just try the DIY route, per Chris Fix, though I'd ideally like to practice first before taking sandpaper anywhere near my Mach-E (lol). I'm half wondering if I could get my hands on a discarded car panel to scratch and test out that repair...
  8. Scratch repair experiences?

Hi all - so I accidentally scratched the liftgate on my newish (2-mo-old) Mach-E when it opened into the garage door. There's a small one-inch scratch that looks like it's down to the metal (I read that the liftgate is actually composite not metal, so think that's actually carbon fiber?). I'm...
  9. Another Damaged Liftgate! Ford should be embarrassed...

I also scratched the liftgate but was purely human error in my case. My wife didn't realize how high the liftgate opened and we were parked such that it opened right into the metal handle on the fully opened garage door. It resulted in one small but deep (can see metal) scratch to back liftgate...
  10. 6/13/22 Build Week Gang

Congrats! I had a great experience with Mossy Ford as well. Glad yours arrived in good time, just a few days after mine it looks like. Happy driving!
  11. 6/13/22 Build Week Gang

No, I didn't receive that email you mentioned. I actually called Ford Chat last Friday and they informed me that my car had arrived at the dealership that day. I then immediately called the dealership and they were surprised that I was aware it was on the lot...the car had only arrived about 30...
  12. 6/13/22 Build Week Gang

Hi @donwell - yes! I was fortunately able to picked up my car this past weekend! It arrived at Mossy Ford on Friday and they were able to complete final inspection/detailing within a day, so that I was able to take delivery late Saturday. It was great to finally get the car and I'm very happy...
  13. 6/13/22 Build Week Gang

Thanks for that info. I'm hoping the "shipment stop" isn't a big deal and doesn't push things past (or too far past) this weekend.
  14. 6/13/22 Build Week Gang

Same here. My car is also en route to San Diego (Mossy Ford in PB) and I've had the exact same succession of delivery window updates. I suspect our two cars are travel companions! Called Ford Chat this morning and they said it's in Mira Loma (I think at the automotive rail yard there). I'm...
  15. I canceled my Mach-E order and got a Bolt EUV instead

Sounds awful! Yeah when I was initially calling around to Chevy dealerships most said they didn't actually accept my GM Family First discount. Even the dealer I bought from was uncertain about applying it. I don't know for sure but I think there's a difference between your supplier discount and...
  16. I canceled my Mach-E order and got a Bolt EUV instead

I emailed the dealer requesting the order be canceled and they replied that I actually need to physically get to the dealership to swipe my card to get the deposit back. I'm out of town for a couple weeks and they said the order will remain active in case I change my mind. Do you have any...
  17. I canceled my Mach-E order and got a Bolt EUV instead

So after waiting about six and half months, my Mach-E was finally built and shipped earlier this week. However, my local Chevy dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse for a new Bolt EUV (LT trim w/most options) at a discounted price. GM recently slashed Bolt EUV prices by $6,300, plus I had GM...

Same batch! Batch #6456 64/304 I have a SEL comf/tech RWD grabber blue My Ford order tracking page updated to "in production" a few days ago. Noticed there's been delays for other recent batches...hoping that's not the case for ours.
  19. Serramonte Ford Mach-E Specialist Here

Wow, that's incredibly fast! Mine is RWD too. Yeah, that does kind of disprove my point...but your case is really abnormally fast I think. Looks like you'll get yours even faster than the "20+" delivery estimate for a Select, which seems almost unheard of. Maybe it's because I'm in Southern...
  20. Serramonte Ford Mach-E Specialist Here

It doesn't get a lot of attention, because I don't think it's a common order, but I'd bet that base Selects (no conf+tech) get scheduled relatively quickly due to less commodity demands (i.e., no BlueCruise, 360 camera, etc.). I ordered a Select w/ comf+tech and am currently at 22 weeks. My car...
