5 mi/kWh would be crazy. I would probably guess the 300 mile range would be more likely to be 200-230 real world, which i guess isn't horrible in certain circumstances.
I don't want to turn this into a range debate. I'm only going by my real world experiences. I have a 2024 premium with the long range battery. 300 miles of range is only under optimal conditions: warm weather, but not too hot; no highway driving; lots of stop and go; top speed of maybe 35-40...
Just my opinion, but I'm not a fan of this at all, unless the real world efficiency (not quoted) is something like 6-7 miles/kWh. I have no desire for a car with a real world range of 100 miles.
I'm not saying there isn't a use case for this, but it's awfully slim.
I'll definitely be looking at something in the 400ish mile quoted range for my next EV. Summer months are fine, but here in the oklahoma/texas/kansas areas, going anywhere over 150 miles away in sub 40 degree temperatures is too much risk for me.
Coming up on 7 months with these tires. I couldn't be happier with them, and will certainly purchase them again when/if that time comes.
One small caveat: We had some snow and ice over the winter months, and my car was definitely sliding a bit more than it had with the Pilots. Nothing...
This is something I wish I had been more aware of when I got my first Mach-E. I actually got into a fairly dangerous situation with my original Standard Range when I was driving my kids to my grandparents house, which is around 110 miles away, in 20-degree temperatures at night. I started with...
I recently had these tires installed on my '23 Premium. I previously had the Pilot Sport All Season 4 in a 245/50/19 size on my aftermarket 19x8 wheels. After conversations with @markboris, I decided on the Hankook in a 255/50/19 size. My needs are range, comfort, and quiet. I don't do any...
Looks great! This would be a purely cosmetic change if I did it, just as it's been on past cars I've had. Any closeup shots of just the wheels with the new rotors behind them?
I'm excited to see your results. I've had aftermarket slotted rotors on many cars I've owned in the past. They look great compared to the stock rotors of most vehicles, especially if you have aftermarket wheels. I've never had an issue with cracking or warping, but then again, I've always...
I'm sorry. You went on a 1500 mile trip, averaged between 70-85 mph, you were towing something, and averaged 3.1 miles per kWh? I'm obviously doing something wrong...
I'm guessing part of his reasoning is in this statement: "Frankly, I was surprised offer was so low since I see they are selling comparable ones with more mileage for about $30,000. That's a big profit for them."
OP not realizing demand; and the fact that Carmax, like most businesses, have to...
I'm curious what the difference is between the EchoHitch and this: Amazon.com: Draw-Tite 76460 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2-Inch Receiver, Black, Compatable with 2021-2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E : Automotive
I had this installed on my 2022 Mach-E, and am needing a hitch for my 2023. It's only for...
I was doing a little bit of research on these tires online, and the size seems to be very limited. 5 sizes listed on the Pirelli website. Is this just because it's new, and more sizes will be available soon? I need a 245/50/19 or a 255/50/19, and neither are listed.
I hope I'm not hijacking this thread with a question, apologies if this is bad form! What would you recommend as the quietest, most comfortable tire? I have an Awd premium with aftermarket 19x8 wheels. I've been using the Pilot Sport All Season 4 in a 245/50/19 size. To be honest, I don't...
I'm having the same issue. On my dash, there is the usual speed limit indicator, and then below it a similar looking box with a much lower speed in it. My car starts slowing down to the speed shown in the box below, not the actual speed limit. Very strange.
My son is a huge Nascar fan, so that makes me a Nascar fan as well. I love my Mach-E, but I also love the idea of what Nascar is, and what the cars of Nascar are. I'm not sure this is that. Still a cool concept.
Strangely, I have the widget for my iPad, but I can't get it for my iPhone. Latest software on iPhone, latest app version. When I try to search for the app in the add widget popup, it doesn't show up.
Edit: uninstalling and reinstalling the application fixed the issue.
The biggest consideration for me is not rated range, but actual range. I had a 2022 Mach-E Standard AWD that was rated at 222 (I think, maybe it was 211?) The only time I saw close to that was 35mph city driving. In the winter it was closer to 110. I ended up trading it in because it was...
